I came here after a long day of work to get some type of liquor. Wasn't sure what. I get here and it's closed. I'm confused because the hours are until 9, and it's about 8:50. Then I realized they closed at 6 today for the caucuses. That is a good business, more should follow their lead.

Everyone has always treated me great. The store is clean, well-stocked. Though I hear Betty is leaving the end of July, which bums me out, I will somehow persevere and return.

They have an excellent selection of wines and imported beers. Helpful employees will assist you to find exactly what you are looking for. Conveniently located in west des Moines on 50th street right off the highway, it'd easy to just stop by and grab something for yourself or maybe as a gift.
