MercyOne Comfort Health Center for Women

I had my mammogram done in this centre third year in a row. This is really women comfort place. They are prompt, quick, professional and very nice. No waiting, no hustle. Place looks comfortable, doesn’t feel like you are in a hospital.

There was a miscommunication on the timing of my appointment which left me feeling very frustrated afterward. The Manager Kristin gave me a personal call where I received the best customer service recovery I have ever experienced. Kristin was a great listener and was sincere about the issue. She made me feel like a valued patient and ensured she genuinely cared about my experience.

I have been here 3 times now, every time, the kindest, most caring people. After being diagnosed with breast cancer they have been there with me every step of the way. Today for breast MRI, calmed me down, I even fell asleep during test. I would recommend the whole from radiology to MRI to the doctors.

A mammogram appointment is just something that most women get nervous about. My experience with the Comfort Health Center for Women front desk staff this morning put me on edge even more.
When I walked in, two of the receptionists were deeply involved helping a patient on the phone. It appeared to be a bit contentious, but instead of taking the phone call to a private location, they dealt with it in front of all of the waiting patients. It clearly rattled more than just my nerves.
In addition, my doctor was out sick so my appointment had to be rescheduled - which is fine. But instead of offering solutions, they just kept asking me if I had received a voicemail, and what my phone number was. I was the one who finally suggested a solution - that I still go back and get the mammogram, but then just reschedule the doctor’s appointment. That worked fine. Clearly, most of the front desk staff was having a bad morning.
I had a positive experience back in Imaging. The receptionist and technicians there were wonderful - and made me feel confident and welcome. But I would suggest that perhaps there be a more private area for the front desk staff to handle difficult phone conversations. It’s just not comforting for patients to have to listen to that - or the aftermath of those situations.

I enjoy the doctors at this clinic. My PCP, Erin, is really great and I’ve done PT here and it was a great experience. The negative review is because nobody answers the phone at the front desk. It’s impossible to schedule an appointment. There isn’t an online app so your only choice is to call the front desk and leave a message. You can’t talk to anyone here about insurance either. Extremely disappointing considering how excited I was about a “women’s comfort center”.

I was referred by my doctor, I left a message to schedule an appointment. It was over a week before I had a phone call back. I called a second time and did receive a phone call the next morning.
The front desk person I spoke to was very rude. I did get an appointment scheduled finally. I have an appointment to see the doctor this week, I hope all goes well.

I had an appointment that I made several weeks prior. I was only given one appointment time- so that's when I showed up. I needing imaging done first which I had known but only was given one time for the appointment. I was able to see my practitioner and get imaging. I had mentioned that I couldn't sit and wait all afternoon due to my husband needing to get back to work. I was assured that I wouldn't need to. So I waited, watched several people get called back before me who arrived after me. I had my first stage of imaging done which the tech was rude and from there was told to wait again, I again watched people who arrived after me go before me again, at time time I had been there for 2.5 hours. At this point I had to leave. Very frustrating

Always people waiting. You may be over your sickness by the time you're seen. Extra star for Deanna though. She is nice.

It is absolutely impossible to ever schedule an appointment, talk to a nurse, or even get a human on the phone to try and do anything here. It's stressful enough dealing with your health, and then throw this frustration in and it is a nightmare. The front desks says they're doing all they can which I can understand, so that means it's administration not hiring people and helping themselves which should tell you all you need to know about this organization.

I would give them a minus if possible! My Dr requested a mammogram from this clinic because she found a possible mass. It is now 12 days later and to date they STILL haven't contacted me! I have called at least 15 times. No one ever answers phone or returns the messages I have left. I have also sent an email to customer care office. My Dr has also reached out. I have contacted my Dr to go elsewhere. I'm already stressed but they have compounded the level of my anxiety. Maybe they should look up the meaning of mercy
