Class-act shop with honest technicians who stand by their work. Owner, Chris, goes out of his way to provide rides home and back while work is completed. I know they have my back and provide very reasonable, upfront pricing when auto issues come up. HIGHLY recommend.

I won’t go anywhere else for a repair. Their work is high quality and prices fair, but more importantly, I trust them 100%. I first went there for a second opinion, and their solution was different from the other shop’s, several hundred dollars less, and it worked. A couple of times I’ve taken a car in for something that turned out to be minor, and they fixed it free of charge.

Chris and the crew are fantastic. The work was flawless, the car was done exactly when he said it would be, and I sincerely appreciate the fair and transparent pricing. I'll continue going here for all our vehicles.

Iowa Auto was recommended to me by someone who works at Homemakers who said they take a lot of their vehicles there for repair. I took three of my vehicles to Iowa auto to get a second opinion on some items for one, check a noise on another and a shake on a third one. Chris was very thorough in his detailed explanation of the one vehicle inspection repair needs and his technician found the noise issue and repaired quickly on the second for about $80. Most impressed is his technician (Bryce) solving an illusive shake coming from left CV axle on the third vehicle that every other shop recommended replacing but he went with replacing the RIGHT CV Axle instead. Logic (or theory at the time) is that the malfunctioning right axle was putting undue pressure on the left that was trying to compensate. That solved the issue for $582.10.

They may not be the cheapest, but certainly not the most expensive quotes. And so far been able to solve all issues I've thrown at them.

Can really rely on Iowa Auto to be honest and upfront. Reliable, not money hungry. I don't take my vehicle anywhere else.

One of the best auto places around. They've always been up front and honest about everything. They also never try to upsell you anything extra. I don't think I would ever bring any of my vehicles any place else.

I had them replace a hard-to-get-to headlight lamp on my SUV. They got me in the day after I called, and they fixed it in 20 minutes. I've had them do suto repair before, and they never disappoint. I highly recommend these guys.

I have used this shop multiple times for my two cars. I seriously couldn't have asked for better service. Chris continually told me what my car's high mileage maintenance service would cost, he wanted to make sure I was comfortable with the process. Feel I got a great deal with excellent service. And not one thing my car Did Not need was recommended! This Facility is top notch!

My catalytic converter engine light came on. I got 3 estimates and Iowa Auto beat them by $400. They installed it perfectly. First time, first customer. Chis Good and Team did absolutely outstanding job.

Was passing through when I heard metal scraping under my vehicle. They were the only place that didn't tell me "try tomorrow". They got me in and on my way with in 20 minutes. The tech even brought me out and showed me what was wrong under the car. Let me know I would be safe driving back home (Sioux City area) and what to tell my mechanic was wrong when I get back. Very kind, and very professional. Wish they were back closer to home. Would use them for all my service needs!!

I'm a motorcycle mechanic by trade, so hate working on my personal cars after working on others bikes all day. I was glad to finally find an auto shop that I could trust to work on my stuff. They do good work, in a timely manner, and is fairly priced, and you can actually talk to the guy that's working on your car! Thanks!

Great service! Chris and the entire staff at IA Auto know their stuff and did a great job installing a new master cylinder and wiring for my boat trailer. The cost was less than the other quotes that I got and they got it done quick.
