San Francisco Centre

Normally, I don't go to malls, but I remember this place when I came to CSUSF for training, and I had to come here to find a shop that might sell a lavender-colored scarf for my girlfriend.

My 1st time going to this mall. Its huge! Very nice mall. Lots of stores to shop at. Very clean.

2023:
WAS by far the nicest mall in San Francisco (in my humble opinion). When Nordstrom decided not to renew its lease and so many other retailers followed, and the San Francisco Centre Mall lost Westfield backing, the mall fell into desolation. It's still popping and busy, and the few retailers left are doing their best to ward off thieves and keep customers coming. San Francisco has really fallen apart in the last two years. It's sad. I loved this mall. 😔

They have some of my favorite retailers like Kiehl's, Zara, Nordstroms, Club Monaco, Ted Baker, and Banana Republic (to name a few). The food court is delicious and you can't go wrong with Auntie Anne's pretzels and lemonade whilst perusing. Christmas is my favorite time to shop though . . . it's magical. It is truly transformed into a winter wonderland; I look forward to it yearly.

It’s true! The San Francisco’s downtown mall is dead. Westfield pulled out of the mall due to significant decrease in sales and occupancy level. Visiting here for a few days and wanted to see for myself, before it’s all gone. This used to be my stomping grounds. Especially Nordstrom. It was my “heaven”. Now it’s filled with empty spaces. No more crowds. No more eateries. Some people brought their lunch because there are tables available. Hardly any foot traffic. It’s a ghost town!! I’m still leaving five stars for the great memories. You will be terribly missed!!

A friend and I visited a shop to buy some gummies. I can't remember the name of it, but it was upstairs and they have a Great Pyrenees!

She was so friendly and we actually ended up in the floor while she let me scratch her belly and love in her. She was so big that if I hadn't given in, she was gonna knock me over anyway. Loved that dog!!

The owner was super cool and very knowledgeable.

This shopping mall gives you a different feeling. It’s massive and beautiful. This place has a food court, man branded shops, and a cinema too. I’m not sure about on-site car park. Very convenient place for public transport.

Westfield is always very fun. i went to the movie theater on the top floor and it was very good. nice service, good popcorn, cheap tickets, etc. the mall itself is beautiful at night, and the food court has lots of very great food. would definitely recommend the movie theater and just the mall itself!

I have been to SF a few times but this is the first time I went to Westfield due to bad weather. Very nice building, especially the restrooms in Bloomingdale’s are very clean. Overall a good place to stay when it is raining outside.

Very nice shopping center in San Francisco. I went to this place multiple times before. But never got chance to its very top. It was a fun today when I had time to take the escalators all the way to the top level and the dome.

Highly recommend it to you when you have free time in the city and spend an afternoon there.

I loved EVERYTHING about this mall.

I loved the stores, the ambiance, the vibe. I loved it sooooo much.

Even the Sephora, which usually is filled with some of the rudest people, actually had really nice staff. I understand this mall was a little more upscale but I thought they had a nice mix, considering. In Michigan there aren’t many malls with a Forever 21 and more luxury stores in the same place.

Very clean, friendly sales staff esp at Bloomingdale makeup counters. No crowds.

So sad the Mall is slowing dying part;y due to everyone ordering online, amazon, and partly due to the rampant theft due to Market Street SF. The Nordstrom here will be removing it's business in August 2023

Spiral escalator quite neat plus a pleasant shopping ambiance. Food court is interesting. One can find just about everything here, from souvenirs to cheap Japanese gadgets and all fashion needs/wants.

I love this downtown mall. I was so afraid it was going to close. Why? I'm not sure because I don't shop here much. It just nice to have such a clean open diverse place around. These last few times we have been to American Eagle, Aerie and Auntie Ann's Pretzels.

So many selections, great stores. It is a very nice place to venture out of the rain. It has a wide array of eateries! Very clean and a planet atmosphere my Daughter and I really enjoyed the Mall

It had a somewhat eerie atmosphere now with less foot traffic, OTOH, everyone is so relaxed, I felt like I was walking through a low key public spa.

Bonus: it was extremely clean. I felt very safe and thankful for the stores that remain.

We really enjoyed strolling around and my wife bought a bag in Bloomingdale's. You'll see the elegance of San Francisco in this Westfield shopping area.

Visiting on February 24, 2023, this is a nice mall that is connected to BART and Muni Metro, with a good food court, lots of shops, one or two department stores, and close proximity to other shopping areas.
