Tesco Express

I absolutely loved this store and I go there every time after a day at uni. Everything’s on demand and the staff were quite helpful, I always get the best pork belly too. However, the reason I’m here in the comment section is just that I just can’t get rid of the bad memories I had in front of the store, I’m sorry it’s nothing to do with the store itself, but being yelled at by a group of random street guys in some Asian language is just the worst moment of a normal happy day with friends out. Of course we wanted to fight back but what if they attacked us? This is east London. There’s also times when a homeless made their dog hold a basket, I took a picture of it cos the dog is cute, and he insisted on getting money from me. It’s so unfair for the dog, and it’s an absolute harassment to a passenger. It’s sad that the daily grocery store I visit has link to such unforgettable negative experiences. I hope that the store runs well and all the security people are safe and sound.

I was staying in a nearby hotel and awoke on Sunday morning with most places closed. However this Tesco Express does open early on a Sunday and four chocolate muffins for a quid did the trick.

This convenience store provided the basic necessities at a reasonable pricing. Do go for the meal sets which were very good. Delicious food set including a snack and drink, we found this to be worth the money paid for. Target 🎯 for the pasta and wraps which were fresh and flavourful.

Conveniently located close to the ibis, has the essentials and self checkout, very easy to pickup something you might have forgotten to pack. Staff were polite when asked about item location, turned out to be out of stock but otherwise well stocked.

This was the only nearest store for me ibis Hotel. All day to day stuff you can get from here and at the best rate. No queue and the service is fast. You can also check-out by your own through the machine. Which was really time saving and convenient. Good store and good staff service.

Staff both managers and customer service assistants are friendly, helpful and pleasant. This applies to the security guards too. Waseem is polite and professional. Niloofher deserves special mention as she is excellent at all aspects of her job.
