Spent Easter Sunday with my friend in this pub. The Sunday Roast here was amazing, the peach&almond tart and chocolate pudding also!! But unfortunately, there was not enough staff so it took us some time to be seated and served. Besides that, everything was perfect.

We stopped in this pub while we were exploring London. It's quite a large open place, but cozy at the same time. The service was friendly. We didn't eat but had a couple points which were very nice. There were lots of tables that were reserved and this was a Sunday, so if you're going to eat then, I suggest reserving.

Stopped by here for lunch, because the place looked amazing from the outside, and was just as charming on the inside! It was very busy, but they had plenty of staff onhand to help with drinks and food. The choice of beer is amazing, and the food did not disappoint. I would most certainly come back, it is perfect!

Came for a Sunday Roast and bottle of wine, it was delicious! Great pub, good selection of beers and wine, and great venue. Staff were always on hand and really enjoyed our time throughout

I love the Sunday roast here. It takes the staff a while to come take your order but the food doesn’t take terribly long and always tastes really good. The lighting is ambient and the crowd is usually not overwhelming but even when packed, the vibes are pretty good.

recently had the pleasure of dining at this place and it was truly a delightful experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a cozy meal. The roast dinner I ordered was exceptional the flavors were rich, and the portions were generous. The staff was attentive and friendly, I highly recommend.

Amazing Sunday Roast in a lovely traditional setting and relaxed ambience, with great customer service by David and the team. I'm definitely going back for the rack of lamb, looked to die for!

We had a massive group booking here for sisters hen meal. It was fabulous - everyone was thrilled with the service and the food. We all really enjoyed it!
Everything was on time, prompt and delicious. Drinks served quick too!
We had some extra dessert orders to our pre ordered menu and they were able to accommodate those which was lovely!

My time here was wonderful. The location is perfect is a nice area. The staff have been looking after us. And the food it’s my second time and the food doesn’t disappoint. My friend who doesn’t really like going pubs she found it clean and good environment. And she enjoyed the food and the potion. The service is on point. And we will continue to go there.

This pub is an absolute gem. The vibe is perfect for so many different occasions whether it’s for after work drinks, a lovely dinner with friends or family, or even as a cute little spot in the dining room upstairs for a splendid date. They even have a cosy private dining room for gatherings which would be perfect for birthdays or small occasions. We had the Sunday beef and pork belly roasts, and they were both excellent. Tasting the freshness and flavors in every dish was immaculate. Service was beyond exceptional and the staff created an experience for us and every other table individually! Without a doubt coming back and bring as many friends and family to this beautiful pub!

Had a great Sunday lunch, had roast chicken and the pork belly both were great and nice presentations. Oh the roast potatoes were spot on crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

What a great pub - such a rarity in central London! The food was great, it's a lovely building and the staff were fantastic - every one of them was warm, friendly, attentive and a pleasure to be served by, a real credit to the place.

Really nice pub, stumbled on it by accident. Great wine menu, great food. Lovely upstairs dining area. We had a vegan panna cotta with rhubarb that was honestly so delicious. Would definitely eat here again!

Erris was fantastic, he went out of his way to offer a birthday cake and candle for my partner's birthday! Wonderful food and staff and a hearty atmosphere.

Discovered this great English pub on a pre Xmas trip to London. Well located on The Strand, very good range of proper ales at reasonable London prices. Knowledgeable and friendly staff and all set in a warm, traditional atmosphere. Highly recommended and will definitely visit again.
