Argos Broadcut (Inside Sainsbury's)

Relatively recent addition to the main store and after a slow start, has gained in popularity over the past 2 years. No quibble returns are fast supply are a real bonus. Extra large car park too.

As I approached a sales assistant saw me and came to greet. I knew what I wanted, and we were sorted in no time. Brilliant service.

Popped in Saturday morning to return an item, missed the guys name, but very helpful and dealt with me straight away.

I bought a phone from this store, the phone was not working properly. I communicated this on two occasions, a week apart, to the manager, Michael. Issues were slow and crashing camera, crashing and restarting mobile phone, finger print function problem and phone screen very dim even on full brightness. Michael would not accept return or a satisfactory solution (no solution at all). The phone caused me a lot of stress due to no being able to use. Being the manager, I knew he could sort my problem but did not. Very poor customer service and did not reflect a good manger. Argos prides thereselfs on there customer service which he did not provide. The phone stopped responding totally and kept restarting, on my 3rd attempt to talk to the store a very kind deputy manager, Emma helped me. Emma provided excellent customer service and could see the real problem unlike Michael. Her customer care was fantastic and helped me exchange the phone for a better phone. Michael could have sorted the issue accordingly.

Never buy lego always damaged boxes. Manager was no help at all.

Went to pick up an item that we had bought on line and the helpful “ manager “ informed me that I would not be able to collect said item as I didn’t have my wife’s Argos card.Sainsburys customer service said it sounded ridiculous but they still refused at Argos.Allmy ID was apparently irrelevant.
Time to move into the present century Argos HQ and explain to you’re staff that in certain circumstances
it is necessary to stray from the company algorithm!

Still not taking contactless payments and tried to offer me a "pay nothing today and pay within 56 days" credit card for a £15 item. This is why the high street is dying

Went to make collection from Fareham at 6 pm Friday as it says open until 11.30 pm on website turns out it’s not Argos store but Sainsbury’s. 15 mile round trip for nothing

Having it in store in sainsbury's now means I have to queue for 45 minutes to collect 1 item as the independent stores are all closed in the area
