Lidl- one of the many places I'd go shopping if A.i were in a budget or B. Wanted something quick and easy. 10/10 perfect shop far better than Aldi. Fresh bakery is my go to especially pan o chocolate or cinnamon rolls.

I have always been a fan of Lidl and it is where I do my groceries for about 3years now. I love their prices and quality of meat and fish is great. They have a clearance section but most of what theyre selling is of good price already. I love their "middle aisles" makes me wanna buy more things that are not found in my grocery list. So i make a list but either i forget it at home or I get to lidl and buy what my eyes deem nice 🤣

Update 10/11/22. Lidl has now replaced Asda for our main shop due to the ridiculously high price increases at Asda. We have found that many Lidl items are of similar, sometimes better quality than Asda's own budget brands.

Always use Lidl to get things we can't get at our main shop. A great variety of goods for very reasonable prices.

Great quality products - especially meat and fresh produce - matched with the lowest prices. They also do weekly promotions on seasonal items like bbq kits in summer or football essentials around the world cup. Definitely recommended if you want to fill up the fridge with outstanding quality products at the best prices!

This is the place to food shop, don't bother with any of the others, Lidl have everything you need, you don't need a massive choice for every product there is, pick up what you need, pay a decent price, out you go, simple.

As always had all we required, fresh bread, milk & veg. Feel safe in store as Not too many people & safe distancing at check out tills. Great prices & quality. Staff are very friendly as usual.

Very quick food shop

Expected it to be like asda and crazy but no we went straight in, shelves all fully stocked and everyone respecting the social distancing rules.
Staff on tills were quick and we hardly had to wait to be served.

Easy to park and right next to b&m if you fancy a mooch in there aswell

They sell majority of the things that I need plus are very cheap in comparison to the other large supermarkets. The only one thing that I've noticed that makes the time spent here drag is the queues for the checkouts. Each time I've shopped in any store and that's not only my local, the queues are long but other than that it's quite enjoyable if that's the right word.

Today was a great visit!!! Staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. There was a good selection of the types of groceries we needed. It was also a good time to go as it was fairly quiet.

Fabulous as usual. My favourite shopping store, so many lovely unusual things for Xmas too.

Good wide range of foodstuffs. Parking a bit tight and always busy especially on specials days.
Close to a maccy ds so there customers take up any spare spaces.
Lidls wish to expand this store. They have major plans which will make this an even better and brighter modern one and I support them in this.

Part of my weekly shop is at Lidl, mainly Fareham or Portchester, depending on my schedule. Both stores, albeit one is well established, the other only a few weeks open, provide an excellent choice of quality goods at competitive prices. Choice of brands is limited, but that helps keep the prices down. All staff I have come into contact with have been very helpful, obliging and polite. Not as many staff as the 5 major supermarkets, but this again saves on overheads, which is past on to the customer. In comparisons, their superdeals are mainly good quality at a fraction of the price elsewhere. Being a tradesman, a lot of my tools are from Lidl. Any faulty goods are replaced (or refunded) straight away. Or if more than 60 days old, they are replaced within a week.

We called in to the Newgate Lane branch of Lidl this last Sunday, having previously been into the Leigh Park branch, once only. What a pleasant surprise, after Leigh Park. The store is clean, airy and very well stocked. It was a pleasure to shop there. I was served by a very helpful person, who introduced himself as Vishram,the store manager.Well done.

It's gone downhill a bit in the last year, the change around in the shop has confused everyone, the shop needs some maintenance to the doors to make it look a bit more inviting and the isle of desire needs some thought to get some decent products in there

Nice and clean plenty of stock, staff friendly and helpful with plenty of parking

A good place to shop. Good prices. Good quality . A lot of well known brands but others are just as good . A convenient sized store to get round quickly
