Just bought a Chateau le Gay, lovely wine. The shop has an excellent selection of fine wines and cigars. The staff are so helpful and knowledgable. The shop caters for all tastes, budgets and occasions. Well worth a visit if you are after that special bottle.

In such a small building, with an interesting history, a veritable Aladdins cave of otherwise difficult to get, or unusual wines and spirits.

Fantastic wine shop Dominic and Roy genuinely interested, great selection of claret, new world wine, port and hard to find wine in fact with all the rare spirits everything you need under one roof. Extremely competitive, friendly, hard to beat. If you're down South would highly recommend a visit

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, made to feel very welcome (despite knowing very little about what I was buying). A great range of wine and spirits. I went with the Portsmouth distillery White and spiced Rum. I left a very happy customer.

Absolutely fantastic service, this is a hidden gem in fareham. Lots and lots of choice. I don't go anywhere else for my whiskey.

Have used them before without issue, and my last purchase they really save my bacon! I needed some Chateau de Beaulon Pineau des Charentes for the next day, phoned them, they double-checked stock and said they could do it, I received my order in under 24 hrs from ordering.

best wine merchant I've ever found.... always has a good stock of all types of alcohol, wine, gin, whiskey, vodka, rum etc... you name it they have it. All at really good prices. They are so knowledgeable and will find you the best wine for your tastes and budget. Always so helpful. Will be going Xmas. Will also be poorer as you just get in there and you can't help but go well over your intended budget!

Excellent wine shop ,and a great selection of rare and unusual spirits.the guy that served me was very helpful.i went in for chartreuse verte but they had sold out.he ordered a new batch and I got mine the next day.he recommended a South African chenin blanc ,which I'm sure will be good.

Love love love this shop. Located on the old High Street, which is quaint. The store is adorable and has so much choice. The staff are really helpful and knowledgable. I tend to use the shop to buy gifts...usually vodka related. They always have something interesting. Highly recommend

Fantastic place with loads of hard to find and special drinks

A terrific independent wine merchant. Terrific stock, good prices, and fast, low cost delivery. Better mixed cases than any wine club I've seen, terrific choice of South African, Spanish and many other wines. I'll be ordering again for sure.

An excellent ordering/delivery experience. Easy to navigate website, fair pricing and prompt, securely packaged delivery. I was kept informed throughout the transaction and a vintage change due to bin end was arranged painlessly. I wish all online ordering was ths smooth.

This is the second time I've ordered from the Wine Cellar. They're one of the few places you can still get Lovage from and even with the delivery they're cheaper than Amazon. Really easy to order from (even though I had to ring the order through this time) and I received it the following day!

What a store! I placed a few items on hold and everything was ready when I got there. Wish I was living here, I would be a regular customer 😁

The shop is all that is good from a small independent business friendly and personal service. If you shop here you will never have a disappointing bottle of wine again.

A great range of wines available at the wine cellar and suburb knowledge from the staff certainly my go to place when I need a good bottle of something. They often run tasting events next door at Lysses house.
