Experience the majesty of London's oldest Royal park, home to swans, pelicans, and parakeets. Visit year-round for scenic beauty and delightful treats from its cafés, ice cream vans, and snack points. It's one of my favourite places for an afternoon stroll.

Beautiful park. Lots to see, a wide range of birds and areas to explore. Relatively large playground for children, and seating for adults. A must see for all visiting london. St James park leads to Buckingham Palace so can be very busy on hot days with tourists, however, there is always space available to sit on the grass.

It's one of my favourite park in London. Perfect and central location. An amazing park that is just steps away from the Buckingham palace, next corner of Trafalgar Square. You can have a superb view of London Eye from the park and Bigben having peek a boo from the trees..
If you are in the area, then definitely worth a visit for its wildlife and nature beauty. A must see list start from the pelicans you find here are a sight. Interesting fact is that these birds were gifted by previous counties to past kings and they have remained in this park since. Then there's friendly squirrels, swans, geese, ducks, pigeons etc. The best season to visit is spring and summer when park is full of flowers.
Big lake is pretty extra addition in this park. Enjoy the changing of the guards, Royal guards and horse guards. Things never stop here so better to visit and find out more for cafes, pubs and many interesting points.

A great green space with a lake, plenty of wildlife and a family of pelicans. Might be central London but peaceful and relaxing. Great views of Buckingham Palace and caught a rehearsal for trooping the colour.

Definitely a great park in the heart of the city and at least one of if not the best one to visit when you’re in London. Friendly animals and full of tourists thriving to see some more of the capital landscape and attractions. Have a snack on one of the perfect spots lying all around the park and retreat from the busy shopping and concrete areas.

Well maintained and very green. Sure, it is a bit crowded at times but that doesn't change the experience. I loved seeing so many animals roaming around- ducks along with their ducklings, pelicans, squirrels- you name it.

Beautiful park with pretty flowers and lots of wildlife. Perfect for a date in nice weather 🌷

The bird I thought was a slightly dirty swan but I was soon humbled to find out it's a pelican.

One of London's famous Parks. It is clean and very well maintained. We liked the greeneries, the lake, feeding the Squirrels, flowers, and more. It is located in the heart of the city with walking distance from Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and Trafalgar Square. The park is ideal for picnicking.

It’s always busy here, but the gardens are lovely and still try to come back here when I am in London. The London marathon made it a bit busier than normal but I love it! Even with the crowds, I always feel like I’m home when I’m here.

This is definitely the best park of London! You can walk and see how many birds and squirrels there are! There is a playground, toilets, enough space for a picnic and you can enter with a dog! You can see more than 20 types if birds and the best part is there are squeaky parrots and pelicans! You should definitely visit this park!

This park is amazing. It was a real surprise for me.
A beautiful place to walk, squirrels running everywhere and birds flying. There's a great restaurant there that served me the best fish and chips. The whole park is very large and beautiful. I recommend it!

Decided to visit the park after seeing some posts about the stunning tulips displays and they certainly don’t disappoint. Entering the park at the entrance close to the Admiralty Arch you’ll easily find these long stretches of colourful tulips. A perfect sunny activity too as the park is close to Whitehall Gardens and Victoria Embarkment Gardens for more tulips action 🌷

Great place for a lazy spring/summer afternoon.. The large pond in the middle has many aquatic birds, kids can have fun.. conveniently located between Buckingham palace and Parliament and a short stroll away from Green park and Westminster tube stations.

Visited this spot while on a trip to a nearby palace. The array of ducks and other wildlife was quite impressive, with different kinds of birds adding to the lively ambiance. The weather was perfectly sunny, casting a lovely glow across the landscape. A truly serene place to wander and relax in. Not overcrowded at all, making it a delightful experience.

St James's Park is a beautiful oasis for a variety of birds in the middle of London, located next to Buckingham Palace. This makes it an unmissable hot-spot for nature lovers who want a break from the bustling city. Amazing place that I highly recommend and definitely would go to again, it was brilliant fun to be in such proximity to wildlife!

The other world exists in London.
Animals come to people without hesitation and all lives coexist in the peaceful nature.
I think that to make a beautiful and nice place is easy but to make atmosphere all lives coexist without afraid about each other is very hard.
London people did that and also they are doing now.
So I think that England people are great and they are called great Britain.

St James’s Park is a lovely oasis in the city. Located very close to Buckingham Palace and Westminster it is easily accessible by foot, bus, taxi or tube. It’s also close to Green Park which links to Picadilly. St James’s Park has accessible facilities as well as a cafe/restaurant and various coffee and snack shacks which can be consumed in the park as there is plenty of seating available around the lake. A children’s play area provides a little respite for tired parents and there is a good coffee shack next door! Don’t forget to take some monkey nuts to feed the squirrels which are quite bold and will often take the nut off the palm of your hand. Enjoy!
