Very lucky to visit on a corporate day out. Amazing location, the cellar has a beautiful ceiling and there's a great space for accommodating a large dining party. We had wine tasting, which was brilliant and then a 3 course meal with wine pairing. The service was top class too.

Popped in today to the newly open whisky shop. Beautiful interior, and a large selection of whiskies to suit any taste and budget. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable and happy to engage in conversation, great experience, thank you!

Visited yesterday to pick up a mix of wines and was helped by Giovanni Arpaia who could not have been more knowledgeable. He took the time to order up a further case from the back for me and even made the effort to entertain my 6 year old son who was not too happy about being in a wine shop with his Dad at 16:30

Apart from the fabulous selection of wines to buy you can also taste wines that you wouldn't necessarily choose. We loved it

One of the most venerable wine shop in the country with a big big selection. However only a tiny fraction of all wines are available on display.

Nice events too even if some of them are absurdly overpriced (hello £1000 per head dinner).

Charming and packed full of history this is a must for great wines and spirits. We were lucky enough to have a small tour of the cellars and events spaces that were so unique and interesting. The range of wine in their store is vast with something for everyone and every price range. Will return

Amazing historical wine merchant store, it is the destination for all wines and whiskies lovers. Staff, Emma, is incredibly friendly and helpful on explaining the history of Berry Bros. & Rudd. There is a scale used to weight dry goods, like coffee beans. Afterwards many members of Royal and VIP came to use it, A wooden chair was then added. It is Britain's oldest wine and spirit merchant, having traded from the same shop since 1698. Today the company also has offices in Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong, a Wine School and an exclusive fine wine and dining venue in London's St James's. They are honoured to hold two Royal Warrants for H.M. The Queen and H.R.H. The Prince of Wales. There is a retail store situated at 63 Pall Mall.

Wine, cheese pairing and knowledge. Very friendly, very reasonably priced. Sumptuous supper rooms downstairs for hire. Originally an emporium for tea and coffee, the shop only moved 4 months ago to pall mall but private clients can still go to the widows old shop on St. James's.

Love your King's Ginger! Delicious! And your shop is amazing! My girlfriend and I visited from Canada, and she loved that this is the original store from back in the 1600's. Will try to make this a stop again on our next visit to London in the future.

A wonderful shop with a very high quality service. We could even try one of their perspective series blends for free. Was surprised to see so much wine as I knew BBr only from whisky but their wine selection is also impressive. The whisky one is beautiful!

It's a shame the star rating can't be higher as I was really impressed with BB&R.
From the outside one could get the impression this is a pretentious place where only the well heeled would frequent, how wrong you would be.
This is long established business dating back centuries, the approachable and lovely staff are very knowledgeable and willing to answer the simplest of questions while having the experience to advise the most experienced sommeliers.
It's a long time since I felt so welcomed in a store without the pressure for a sale, but as this is such a fine wine shop with an amazing variety it seems a shame to visit and not to take something to quaff back at home :-)).
Brilliant brilliant place :-))))

I did the WSET Level 2 course at Berry Bros & Rudd and it was excellent. Food was lovely. Rebecca, our teacher, was friendly, enthusiastic and fun. The wine tastings were carefully organised to contrast and emphasise the differences in flavours and aromas. I do not know yet my WSET results but have to say the course was enjoyable.
