St Andrew's Church

It was gutted by a German bomb in the Blitz, but faithfully rebuilt to the design of Sir Christopher Wren, who had earlier rebuilt the church after the 1666 Great Fire. Very beautiful inside, with a tasteful blend of very old and modern design . The afternoon light through the windows was interesting.

Not much of a Jesus person myself, admittedly, though the Primary Jesus Room is great for orchestra concerts. Perfectly hard and uncomfortable pews. Wonderful painting of Jesus standing over a hedgehog in a tiny cave. All the doors and windows seem to be in working order, which is a plus. They didn't have any blood sacrifices listed in the schedule, so probably family friendly. Maybe no pets though just in case.

Stunning Christopher Wren church. Always found a great sense of spirituality here & attendance at a recent midweek evening mass was no exception. Beautiful liturgy and service, led by the Bishop of Fulham.

I like this place. I would suggest you to read the Bible (scriptures) and accept Jesus Christ and learn what He teaches us. He will give you a new heart and a new perspective of life, more meaningful days, more joy, a softer heart, humble and most important, love for everyone. Love your neighbors and help the poor, not for people but for God! Remember, again, it’s for free, love it’s a choice like everything else. Be a good one! 🙏🏼

Wonderful Place for weekday worship with Beautiful Mass held at 12.30pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Also monthly events

A Christopher Wren church recently restored to a wonderful standard. A perfect place of worship. My choral society (Islington Choral Society) recently performed a candlelit carol service to a full chirch.

I only go to sit in the Gardens to have lunch, good to get out the office. Quite place never busy. A little oasis.

City church, different atmosphere, there was a concert and they let us stay.

Church with details of it's history including past distinguished members such as Thomas Corum. A slemn place.
