For last minuet stationary stock I can always count on whsmiths ... Especially when it come to children's past papers and practice books.

Often untidy with bare shelves. Very limited DVD on sale. Sad place overall

The staff can ask to pay you as much as they want.
It was on the 1 November 2018.There was full shelf of Cadbury Chocolate bars at WHSmith, 2 Great New street for the price of £1 each, but when I gave £1 to the young muslim girl standing at the till, she told that I have pay £1.99. I showed her the price of £1 on the shelf but she said that she doesn’t care her system shows that the price is £1.99 and I had nothing to do just to pay. Next day I came to the same WHSmith shop and asked another guy working at the till what is the price of the same chocolate bar. He said that it is £1 and it has been £1 for a while. And I realised that this way some people at WHSmith earning extra cash.
