Fabulous restaurant and if you’re in the area looking for Asian food I’d highly recommend. The dining area is small with the tables crammed in, so you’ll ideally want to have a reservation, but even without it’s worth the wait. The open kitchen is a delight to watch in action and the effective air-conditioning ensures it isn’t too realistic with an Asian climate! There’s a handful of tables on the pavement outside too.

While the service felt a little slow to start with it was redeemed with a really funny and entertaining member of staff who ended up being proactive and professional for the rest of the visit. There’s a fair selection of wines and of course local Thai beers on the menu.

There’s the perfect amount of options for food, without the menu getting too confusing. The main dishes were served with huge portion sizes and meant we probably shouldn’t have ordered as many starters to share, but given how tasty everything was there were no regrets! The prawn spring rolls had the perfect amount of filling and the dim sum spot on.

We had an amazing evening meal, with the quality of food and staff providing great value for money. I cannot wait to return!

Enjoyed the food here. Great authentic flavors that were seasoned just right! Service was efficient and friendly.

Look forward to coming back and trying their other dishes next time in the King’s Cross / Coal Drops Yard area. I just saw they have other branches so might stop by one of those too.

Absolutely loved my meal at Ekachai! I wasn’t sure if I’d find vegan option but I did and it was amazing! The staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is great too. I would recommend making a reservation before showing up. If you’re in the area, you must try this hearty, comforting place. I just wish it wasn’t so cramped in. Otherwise it’s a perfect place for a hot winter meal.

Lovely find! Food was tasty with good sized portions. Staff were friendly and efficient. They were also patient with my parents and children. My dad is a tricky customer and he loved the food, which is a miracle 🤣

A wonderful warm welcome to an authentic restaurant. Freshly cooked to order thai style dishes. The rice and pad Thai were incredible! Starters were also great value. Cannot wait to visit again next time I am in London.

Went in to order a take away beef brisket noodle soup. The vibe was warm and welcoming, staff seemed really nice too. Most tables were full and the food looked lush. The noodle soup was wrapped very well and didn’t have any leakages despite being knocked around on busy trains for a couple hours - and when I finally got home, it was absolutely delicious and a great portion size. I will be coming back to eat in!

LOVE the food here! It’s a cozy cute place with yummy food - almost always full and hard to get a table.

One of my favorites is the Nyonya curry also love the green Thai curry and the starters. Everything I have eaten is pretty top-notch!

I’ve been there a few times and it is now my go-to place for authentic specialties such as as Beef Hor Fun and Hanainese Chicken Rice. The service is good and quick, the place is well decorated, accommodates large groups and has outdoor tables. Unexpectedly, the music is not Asian at all but 80s classics (which is not a bad thing). The only downside is that it is a bit of a victim of its own success and they do run out of the more popular dishes, so go there early if you’re picky (but their other dishes are good too)!

I had the seafood laksa while my sister had the hainan chicken both dishes were amazing both dishes were filling and the place wasn’t too busy which meant we didn’t have to wait too long to get our food. I really enjoyed the laksa it’s such a huge portion you need to be very hungry to finish it or you could share it.

My fav dish is curry laksa seafood!!!!!
I love eating here for a quick lunch because it’s not too busy in the afternoon.

The waiting is quite long for dinner.

We have tried seafood curry laksa, hainan chicken rice, pad thai, calamari, milk tea and lychee with coconut water.

I storngly recommend the curry laksa!!!

They have a good container for takeaway too. The lady is so nice and very enthusiastic. I often come here for a quick brunch.

We didn't expect to have food here at the beginning, but felt very satisfied after having lunch here. My friend's kid even gave it a good review saying this is the best egg fried rice (Nasi Goreng) in the world!
I especially appreciated that you are willing to adjust the spicy level for the kid, which turns out the best egg fired rice in the world👍
My partner also enjoyed the Beef Rendang, and I like my Pad Thai and Thai milk tea which I couldn't always find in other Thai restaurants.
The staffs are friendly and hospitable, definitely will visit it again, thanks for your serving, we really had a great time here after a long holiday😊

Decent place for lunch - authentic flavours and nice to see the open kitchen concept which gives a ‘street food’ vibe. Beef hor fun is highly recommended and the XLB is not bad for outside of Soho.

I had a really nice fish curry in there! I went on my own for a quick dinner - and I paid less than £20 for the curry, a bowl of rice and a beer.
It’s quite small inside so if you’re going in a bigger group then a reservation would be a good idea!
I would definitely go back again! Even for the same fish curry - so delish!
