I went to see a movie on Friday night with MUBI go, there were plenty of seats left. I wish I had arrived earlier as the bar had a great vibe, there were a few bands playing and it's a very cool space. Will come back to explore more!

Lovely venue with a variety of art and cultural events and exhibitions. Special highlight is the bookstore which curates a lot of progressive / transgressive reads. Will open your mind.

Last visit to the ICA was 4 years ago, glad to see the center still open and thriving. Gallery, reading, performing and cafe space. Nice to sit and have a coffee, wine or snacks. Accessible restrooms.

I always enjoy spending time at the ICA, it's a nice space to hang out. Have a relatively quiet drink / snack. The staff are friendly and warm and the best part is it's close to a lot of the 'action' in the centre of London. After a short walk you'll be at Trafalgar Square! Hidden gem!

The Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) is located on the Mall a few minutes walk from Trafalgar Square. It is one of London’s leading spaces for contemporary culture. It commissions, produces and presents new work in film, music, performance and the visual arts. by today’s most progressive artists. The ICA is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year.

Our most recent visit was to view the exhibition of work by the artist Gray Wielebinski entitled The Red Sun is High, the Blue Low. The exhibition itself was somewhat underwhelming. But we had a nice cup of tea and a cake in the cafe.

Great gallery with cinemas, a book shop and cafe. A real broad breadth of things on show and it’s located in a very easily accessible part of town by st James. Good vibes

Great place! I don't really get the staff uniform thing though with their wearing an apron and white t-shirt. It does not look good.

Finally, I think my worries are put to sleep. Leave my art trajectory in the hands of The Institute. Nice cozy house for great films. Friendly faces all around, no pretentious knowing all and decor to the minimum; I do really appreciate it. Great location. Very much recommend.

I have somehow managed to miss this wonderful place, not sure why. Great selection of films you will not find at Vue or CineWorld...excellent books, exhibitions and of course staff.

Personally I spend way too much time here....

In terms of Art, Cinema, and Theatre, you cant find a better place in London. I personally do not work in the creative industry so shut out from most non public events but this is a great place to see some amazing work.

In terms of film - they have a great slate and show alot of work that I cant find anywhere else around London. Ofcourse they show the odd mainstream hit, but if you are looking to find indie international cinema, heres your place.

I have also been to quite a few of their art exhibitions+installations and again been super impressed.

The crowd is not is stuffy at all, the staff are super sweet and theres a great little bar area where everyone is super social and friendly. i have actually been to the bar before on a friday before heading out without even seeing an event on.

Interesting, fairly hidden little gem on the Mall. Nice book shop and modern avant-garde art exhibitions, definitely worth a visit when walking by. Free to go in and there’s a cafe and toilet inside. Exhibits change from time to time but is always interesting if you’re into art and design…

Visited the ICA a few times, and always had a pleasant experience. Cafe is nice, and the film experience I had was a good one :) Staff helpful and friendly - always come away feeling a little more knowledgeable and with an injection creativity. A stones throw from Trafalgar Square & St James Park - a super central London location

Very cool venue with quite a few nooks & crannies to explore including a selection of books and magazines, cafe/ bar, break out areas and a concert venue.

It's always good to come here and experience the weird and wonderful. I came to a film screening with a Q+A with the director and crew afterwards, so you get the find out things you wouldn't normally get to know. Cafe is reasonably priced too if you need some refreshment beforehand

A good place to start your journey into contemporary art. This sort of art is hard to get especially for people that have not appreciated the past forms of art yet. This establishment should be the first stop on a long journey of self determination and understanding of the world. Beers at the bar are priced at 5.5£ a pint which is fair for central London.
