Notes Coffee Roasters & Bar | Trafalgar Square

My favourite place to grab a coffee when in the city of London. This time around I found this place even better than last time. Early in the morning this coffee is very chill and calming. Although the food is quite pricey I think it’s worth it if you want a great flat white with a pastry or some eggs. My only complaint is the charge you have to pay for service - if you want any kind of tip this is not acceptable.

Super cute café, the breakfast is delicious and they have a lot of gluten free options. The service is really good and especially the one with the black glasses, he is so kind and heartwarming. The next time I come to London, I will definitely come here!☺

Went here for coffee and a brunch, which was all freshly cooked so a wait was anticipated, the coffee was very good, great quality and had a lovely smooth texture, they have a in-house roasterie so I expected it to be of the quality it was. The bacon with the avocado and poached eggs were delicious although bacon a little cold so we asked for it to be heated up more which the waiter did with no problem.

It was a nice experience for me. Hot chocolate was average, brownie with ice cream was good. Opens during evenings.

We stumbled across Notes Coffee when exploring around London, if you're between Trafalgar Sq and Leicester Sq look no further. I couldn't believe how busy and vibrant it was for such a small cafe, they have a wide variety of all your favourites but the pancakes, bacon & maple syrup definitely came out on top. Staff are brilliant and really made us feel at home, I cant get over how good the pancakes were: perfectly stacked, tasted great and all round just a brilliant experience.

They offer both hot and cold drinks, cocktails and alcoholic beverages, prices are slightly higher than normal but due to the quality and location I totally understand and cant wait to come back.

Foamed milk. They have Oatly which is key for me. Will be back for sure!

This is a good place for breakfast & brunch. Very well located thou it was quite calm when I visited.
The food was on point. I had the Super Breakfast & will do again.
I would recommend it.
The coffee sizes are a bit little for me thou but all in all it’s a great choice

This review is for the coffee, although the food brunch menu looks good we weren't looking to have this today.
Flat white silky and correct milk temperature and kept the flavour of the beans. Dirty chai latte (as a universal safe bet can't go wrong) was lovely, sweet but beautifully spiced.

Outstanding coffee which is rare in UK but this place is settling the trend. Nice atmosphere, popular for informal meetings and friends catch up. It stays open in evening and then becomes more of a wine bar. Limited number of power sockets, one by stairs and another opposite the water. Wifi only 30 minutes but if you buy another coffee they will provide WiFi code. Friendly staff. Limited but high quality food selection.

Very good coffee, friendly staff, also caters to other drink choices if one doesn't want a coffee. A good staple to know about if you want to avoid the bigger chains and appreciate well made, with love, coffee.. 😁

Great cappuccino! A nice cafe on a bright quiet street. Would want to try other options next time, menu looks super good! Their baked cakes are fresh too.

Great little find in the heart of London right next to Trafalgar square. You will need to keep your eyes out because it is discretely marked from the street. We went there for coffee and brunch. The pancakes were very tasty both ways. Very good coffee!

A great coffee place near trafalgar square. The place offers a variety of food for a light meal. Excellent breakfast is offered and the service is quick and efficient. The super breakfast is highly recommended. The place tends to get crowded diring rush hour. Note that cash is not accepted in this place.

Excellent flat white with soy milk. Excellent cortado with oat milk. Thier valentine special latte (with beetroot and dates syrup) is great too. Great breakfast menu.

Finally i drink a real coffee here 🇬🇧😂☕ the brunch was tasty , we order scrambled eggs and croissant both are very good 👍🏻the service was good too 😊

Tasty pastries and coffee. The staff was super friendly. Balanced atmosphere: cool enough to take friends and people watch, quiet enough to work.

Nice coffee shop near Leicester Square. Quite loud inside but can hear people at your own table fine. The food was tasty and a nice size portion (not too big). Enjoyed the pancakes and a mozzarella pesto baguette. Coffee and soft drinks were also nice. Friendly staff and not rushed to leave despite being busy.

We had to come back and eat again even though our stay in London was short. When we return we'll be back to notes for some wonderful food and service.
