The Hatter's Cafe

Definitely one of the best and hidden gem cafe that I’ve ever tried in Katoomba. Great and chill atmosphere. The staff provide an excellent service and they’re very friendly.

Food and Coffee are huge portion, and totally worth it. We order their brunch menu: Signature benny, and Corn and Zucchini Fritters. I really love the food presentation and both food are super delicious/tasty.

Overall, I highly recommend everyone to come to this cafe if you are looking for a place to eat and chill in Katoomba.

I loved this little Cafe . Was clean , warm and most important , open !!! A lot of the coffee shops are not open till later .

Pancakes were lovely, really appreciated the lady serving me and my dog, very friendly and attentive. It can be hard to order food traveling alone with a dog sometimes.

How this place only has 3.6 stars is beyond me. I had the "Signature Benny" which was Pulled Pork, poached eggs, sriracha mayo, hint of chill and coriander and it was insane. My sister had the "truffle mushroom" Clearly an amazing chef as the presentation was also awesome. Owner and the lady who served us were both so lovely. Would highly recommend. Oh and the jumbo coffee is gigantic 👍

The staff was very friendly, lovely and thoughtful. We checked the other local menus and this one had definitely the best selection for our liking. Ordered three differed break fast options and all of them became favourite. Coffee was delicious. Nothing critical to say, definitely would recommend. Thanks for making our mornings special!

25/5/24.Hello.As a tourist I had to find a nice cafe in Katoomba.The blonde young lady was very friendly and happy to assist us elderly people.Niki I believe.
Food was well priced and arrived quite quickly,surprisingly.
Maybe needs a few more lights as was a bit hard to see the menu.Overall a very positive and enjoyable lunch.Thank you.
PS:Great coffee and see you all this weekend again.

We were greeted at the door and offered to sit where we liked. We chose to sit outside.
The owner was clearing the table next to us and came over to say hello.
I took his recommendations for the Hatters Breakfast.
It was to die for.
One of the best breakfasts I can remember.
He boasted that he has the best coffee in town.
He was right, it too was devine.
The Breakfast burger was also excellent.
We ended it with a serve of crepes.
Was sat there for around an hour in a food coma.
Thanks Spiro for an exceptional meal.
There is an adage that you get what you pay for.
The high prices reflect the quality of the food.
We will definitely be back.

I can't believe that I could get a very delicious breakfast after 7:30am. As an early riser I always have problem finding a good breakfast when I travel. The cutest little cafe in Katoomba! When we walked in, the owner was so friendly and encouraged us to sit at the window (which ended up being the best seat in the house).

When ordering, my friend asked if she could get the kids waffles, to which the owner responded with “we’re all kids at heart!” When the server brought out my friend’s milkshake (which was absolute perfection), they said it was “made with love”. My gluten free crepes were insanely delicious, and my coffee was made perfectly.

What it lacked in size, the cafe makes up for tenfold in character and personality. If you’re in the area, GO!! Will definitely be back to check out their lunch menu soon!

This was my second visit to Hatter’s Cafe, and I had to leave a review because they are so excellent. The food is simply outstanding, with each dish showing their commitment to quality and flavor. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making every visit special. Hatter’s Cafe is the best restaurant in Katoomba. The experience is worth every penny. Highly recommend!!!

My recent experience at The hatter’s cafe Katoomba was absolutely delightful. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted warmly and the service throughout our visit was top-notch.

During our stay in Katoomba, we dined at Hatter’s cafe each day, trying different dishes every time. I must say, every dish we tried was an absolute delight, showcasing the talent of the chef. The flavors were exceptional, and it's evident that a lot of care and attention goes into each dish.

My partner and I ordered off the today's specials menu and the food was fantastic!!!
I had the veal snitzel with herb mash and my partner had your chicken sirancho Mayo burger.
The meals were cooked beautifully and tasted so good.

We loved this little cafe on our visit to Katoomba. The staff were absolutely brilliant, super friendly and chatty and great for recommendations. The food was equally good - so much so that we came back the next day. Definitely worth stopping by!

I loved this cafe, id say one of my favourite spots to go. The staff were all so friendly and accomodating and the food is really great better than ever. I went in with my family and we all left more than happy. Definately a place to go if youve not been yet!

the staff were so accommodating, it was sooo cold so they turned on the heater for us. the food was delicious too! the pumpkin soup and salt and pepper squid was amazing. 10/10! thank you so much ^.^

As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by a lovely lady who gave us menus and sat us. Ordered the Canadian pancakes with a side of eggs and it was 10/10! Food came out quick, all the staff were lovely and the whole place had a nice chill atmosphere.

Great breakfast and cozy atmosphere
We ordered breakfast burger, Canadian pancakes, rhubarb crumble porridge and caramel milkshakes all was really tasty and it was fast served. And the coffee was excellent 👍

I just ate the signature Benny for breakfast. This is the first time I have wanted to hug a chef. Such a great fusion of flavours, if you are in Katoomba for breakfast, it’s a must try. Service and coffee were also great.
