Lilianfels Blue Mountains Resort & Spa

Amazing location, beautiful surroundings, and very helpful staff. It's an old hotel but very well maintained. Don't expect modern and brand new looking rooms but you can expect a nice and clean classic room. Breakfast is OK, the meals which we had at the hotel restaurant were all very good. A must try one is their chocolate brownie (we got the one from the kids' menu).

I had the pleasure of meeting Trudi, who has been absolutely amazing and helped me have the most relaxing spa experience. She was extremely meticulous, resolved any concerns I raised and truly has one of the best luxury spa experiences. I had their signature spa treatment and Trudi helped me have a great, blissful pampering session.
Will definitely recommend to friends!

We went for massages at the Spa one weekend. Trudy (front of house) was super professional and efficient and welcomed us to the Spa. I had the pleasure of being massaged by LARISSA!

I can honestly say that Larissa was probably THE best masseuse I have experienced in Australia and is without a doubt on the top of my list from experiences around the world (including Thailand)!

Larissa’s massaging touch was soft to start and perfectly intensified to identify back knots and relieve pressure. Amazing ! I walked on clouds after her treatment and she didn’t skimp on the time making sure that her treatment was completed with care (my biggest frustration with many massage treatments is early finishes, despite good money paid for a defined time). Lovely and caring lady - highly recommend and I can’t wait to return - special trips from Sydney just to have her treatments again!

I had my birthday weekend gateway in the hotel. The service was fabulous and I even got birthday sweets welcoming me in the room. First dinner was in one of the hotel restaurants- very good service, very good food (fabulous steak). The room was clean, spacious with big and comfortable bed. I'm pleasantly surprised and would be happy to stay there again.

WOW! So beautiful! Location is superb. Rooms are huge, food exceptional and large meals. All amenities magnificent. Can not wait to return.

I very much enjoyed my facial and massage. All the staff were professional and friendly. Larissa who did my treatment was outstanding! I was not just the next client for the day, she took great care and went above and beyond my expectations.

An excellent resort providing everything a person can want , a very good spa ,good swimming pool. Well serviced with food and drink lovely lounge area which was the best place for eating. Only thing not perfect was the pricing of the restaurants. They were overpriced for what they provided.

Wonderful establishment to stay. Clean and tidy. Staff very polished in appearance. Food was lovely. Pools, spa areas very clean. Friendly staff. Relaxing atmosphere. Room was very nice and has the old world charm that you expect in an establishment like this. Very similar to Kirkton Park hotel in the Hunter Valley or Milton Park Hotel in the Southern highlands. Definitely recommend a few day stay at Lilianfels.

Oh.my.god. I don't know if I could say enough to do this place justice... it was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!! The room was spacious and the beds were so comfortable... but it was the place that was just so amazing, you can go to the lounge for a drink or just to relax. We ate 2 meals there and they were both absolutely delicious. The indoor heated pool was incredibly relaxing and the spa was amazinnggggg, I went for a 1.5 hour massage after an 8km hike and it was THE BEST! Okay.. then the location. This place is RIGHT ON an entrance to some amazing hikes in the blue mountains 😲 Service was incredible as well! If you can get to this place, do it!

I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel has an old fashioned vibe, and is well maintained. Beds were comfortable and I slept very well. The hotel has many facilities, such as swimming pools, snooker table, meeting rooms, tennis court and gym. The location is also very convenient, just a short walk away from Echo Point and Katoomba RSL.

Had a beautiful high tea here yesterday and it was stunning. The food was delicious tarts, wraps and the cakes were amazing. The service was lovely and I felt very spoilt here!

Wow such a beautiful place to stay! Could not have asked for a better experience. We were in awe of the location, the friendly service, the class of the establishment and the beauty of the grounds. What a peaceful and relaxing place to stay!

What a beautiful resort! The service is absolutely impeccable; the best we've recieved! The look and feel of the hotel is so vintage and soothing. Great facilities, including the indoor heated pool! The only one downfall was the bar fridge was super loud and if you're a light sleeper like I am, I struggled to get a good night's sleep. My husband on the other hand didn't seem bothered by it at all. Truly a great place !

One of the most relaxing quietest places I have stayed plus they are dog friendly so you can bring your pooch here! Although the wallpaper might not be to everyone's taste, the room was really spacious & the back door leads out to a delightful trellised patio festooned with wisteria. The bathroom was equally large & well equipped. The food was really good. Will definitely be back.

This is an enchanting resort. The furnishings are beautiful and rooms spacious. We ate dinner in the main lobby surrounded by antiques. The women at the spa very accommodating. The staff at front desk will help you plan your hikes. This is a must go to

The place feels slightly rundown and a bit outdated in its decor. The staff can be a little hit and miss. But the grounds are beautiful, and the service is generally very good and the place is a pleasure to stay at.

We’re having a wonderful stay on the beautiful property. The decor is classy old world charm. Our room is beautiful and roomy. All the common areas are relaxing and very tastefully decorated.

This is a lovely hotel for relaxing and enjoying the company you are spending time with. It has an old, comfortable ambiance with a friendly, fun and elegant team of professionals. The main room is beautiful and relaxed. Lots of walkers, cocktail lovers and city escape artists. It was wonderful to stay in one place. There is a snooker & games room as well as an indoor and outdoor pool. It's a short walk to the Three Sisters and you have the choice of two decadent restaurants within a few metres walk. I love it and cannot wait to come back and visit! Sorry there aren't more photos, I was enjoying myself too much!
