Gordon Falls picnic area

Breathtaking views and superb experience to visit this. The walk from the car park is brisk but hey if you are here and have a bit more energy left please make a trip to the base of the falls. It is such a lovely trek and steep at times but once you are there you will enjoy. Being at the base of the falls gives you a totally different experience.

A short walk including stairs and a ladder, but a stunning view!

I went here for the first time today (August 3rd 2020) with my wife. We parked up, started from Leura Park and walked through the bush to the lookout. There hadn’t been much rain this week but the falls were still beautiful to look at. It is easy to get here, nice steps to get down and a nice flat platform lookout to take in the view of the valley and the falls. There is a park and picnic area at the top the relax and enjoy a meal after the walk.

What can you say about this stunning lookout. One of the best views of the Gordon Fall. The valley is breathtakingly beautiful.
Anyone who is going to Blue Mountain must visit this lookout. This is strongly recommended.

We were only able to stay a short time but the views were spectacular.

Easy access from the carpark, with a short walk to the vantage point. One set of steep metal steps to navigate and a few natural steps with timber support. Outstanding view of the valley and waterfall.

This is great lookout point with the great access point to longer bush walks not steps down. Once you reach the actual lookout point all you see is an eye refreshing site with chilly breeze kissing your cheeks :) Great great feeling. Surly ll go over there again when ever get a chance to land in Sydney.

Great little park! Walking tracks, BBQ, play equipment. Usually pretty quiet. Great views!

Nice place, possibly good if you're temporarily homeless as there are a couple of shelters here. That being said, the Council, Police and Residents wouldn't likely want you getting too comfortable.

The lookout is a little bit hidden from the parking lot. Walk to the right side or opposite to the playground, and you will find the small sign to get there. Open your eyes! 😂

Beautiful place. We stayed in leura and it's walkable distance from there. Very calm place and not much crowded. Been there for a evening walk and it was worth it. Highly recommend place rather than going to blue mountains and be in crowded areas.

Definitely worth a visit, few steps but you will love the view, euge recommended

A hidden gem. Provides a view of the Three Sisters from the other side of the main platform. Not signposted, so need to follow Google maps. Only 1min walk from the road.

Absolutely Amazing!! There so many hidden gem pockets excluded. So don't hesitate to explore!! Had an amazing picnic gazing at a million dollar picturesque
