It is about a 20-30 minute walk from Katoomba station. Considering the time it takes to wait for the bus, I thought it would be faster to walk, so I went to Echo Point and Scenic World instead of taking the bus.

Echo Point was very beautiful and spectacular. It was the most amazing view I have ever seen and it was a great experience. I saw three rocks called the Three Sisters and there was a small rock next to them and I wondered if they were with their children.

There were a lot of people, but the view was clear and we were able to take pictures quickly. Very neat experience. Very nice.

Superb spot. Only spoilt by so, so many people. Remember to look, not only at the scenery, but also the wildlife which are very close by!At peak times, difficult to find a parking space, which is metered. Even so it's worth visiting.

It was a nice nature view
It is about a 25-35 minute walk from Katoomba station. Considering the time it takes to wait for the bus, and the local bus only works from 0930am to 0500pm. We thought it would be faster to walk, so we went to Echo Point.

Echo Point was beautiful and spectacular. It has an amazing view and it was a great experience. Saw three rocks formations called “the Three Sisters”.

There were a lot of people, but the view was clear and we were able to take pictures quickly. Highly recommended to visit.

Beautiful lookout spot. Gorgeous photo opportunity of nature and the valley. A very peaceful place to be awed by the natural beauty! A few different walks and routes to do from here, just make sure to bring your bug spray as there's a lot of flies! Definitely a good starting point for the blue mountain hikes!

The Highlight of my Holiday so far offering Fantastic views of the 3 Sisters and great views to cherish for a long time to come, the Train journey took 2 hours from Central and there were toilets on board.
We made the journey early arriving at the Blue Mountains just before 9am catching the 0654 from Central.

Great place with a great view across the valley- if there’s no fog…..
Most tourists stay at the lookout and don’t go down the giant stairway. You should definitely try it: it’s really exhausting, but a great hike and experience. The National park webpage says it’s 998 stairs 😀 and a grade 4 walk (maximum would be 5…)

The Eco Point Lookout at the Three Sisters is a breathtaking vantage point in the Blue Mountains of Australia. Nestled amidst lush greenery, it offers a panoramic view of the iconic Three Sisters rock formation, a marvel of nature. The lookout provides an opportunity to immerse oneself in the natural beauty of the region, with well-maintained walking paths and informative plaques detailing the area’s rich indigenous history. The stunning vista, especially during sunrise or sunset, is nothing short of mesmerizing. Visitors can relish the tranquility and take stunning photographs, making it a must-visit destination for nature enthusiasts and anyone seeking a tranquil escape.

The sheer scale of the mountain range never fails to amaze. Consider visiting at sunset if you wish to have the Three Sisters illuminated (they will be in the shadows at sunrise). The lookout is well lit at night. The lookout itself has been recently renovated with improved accessibility ramps and more seating. There are a few vantage points to soak in the view, aside from the main lookout everyone will immediately flock to. Take the stairs/ramps down to explore other vantage points.

There is no entrance fee for this lookout or the walking trails that go from here. The only public toilets I saw were the portable toilets, but there must be others in the visitor info centre and foodcourt nearby.

It was quite a day trip to reach the Blue mountains where the Echo Point Lookout for the three sisters rock ock formations are. We were able to view them from the cable car ride we took to go to the bottom of the valley. However, by the time we got done with the cable car ride, it was raining heavily and we could not stop at the Echo Point Lookout for three sisters rock formation. However, it was definitely worth going to the Blue mountains to see the Evergreen Forest where the dinosaurs roamed millions of years ago.

My trip to Sydey went really great after visiting the three sisters. We were completely amazed with the Natural Landscape at three sisters.

Being a lover of nature, I am always keen to see mountains and trees and this place is one such gem to explore the nature and enjoy your cuppa. We had spend a wonderful evening yesterday at this place along with exploring few more places within blue mountains.

For anyone who is keen to see the beautiful and natural landscapes, I would highly recommend a trip to Blue mountains if you are travelling to Sydney.

The iconic view when any tourists associate with Australia and Sydney, this was an incredible spot to view the Three Sisters even during some mist/fog in the Blue Mountains that made the view more spectacular. Nice little tourist store to buy souvenirs, drinks, toilets and snacks.

Easy to catch a bus to get to the Echo Point Lookout for the famous 3 sisters.

There is a very easy route to a waterfall, which is around 30min walk. There is also a bus stop there so no need to head back to Echo point if you want to get back to Katoomba.

Lots of tourists out here because it’s so easy to access. But if you think this is the most beautiful place in Blue Mountains, you’re absolutely missing out lots of things. You can take buses to Evans lookout (lots of walking) or some other lookout up from Blackheath. It’d be easier with a car but it’s still accessible if you check bus timetable in advance.

Magnificent views. Definitely stop here when you’re in Sydney. The gondola ride with glass floors affords a great view of the Katoomba falls. More amazing views on board the Skyway, Cableway, Railway.

The Echo Point Lookout is part of "The Blue Mountains". I bet one can stand all day & soak themselves in the beauty of nature. It's absolutely mesmerising. Just have a watch on the weather & if thunderstorms are expected, be cautious about the walk through the rocks.

There are pathways to walk down to the Three Sisters Rock formations. Don't miss out.

I have visited here many times and can never be disappointed with this incredible site. Best to visit early or late in the day because it can get very busy with tour groups.
The site provides excellent views of the Three Sisters together with wonderful views of the Blue Mountains.

I wanted to beat the crowds so I arrived early in the morning on a train from Sydney. I walked to the lookout from the Katoomba Station (which was an easy walk) and when I go there: nothing. It was fogged in and couldn't see anything. The skies cleared after a couple hours wait, but, along with the sun came the crowds.

Bottom line: You can get your shot, but be prepared for busloads of people.

Recommendations: 1) walk to the lookout. It's an easy, mostly level stroll and you'll enjoy passing through the community. You can also hop on the shuttle bus for the return trip. 2) Take the walk down to the Three Sisters. You can turn around before the giant staircase. It's not nearly as crowded as the lookout.

A breathtaking view of nature landscape.
Blue Mountains is a free tourism spot in Katoomba.
You can see the famous "Three Sisters" rock formation etc.

Transportation to this area by train from Central Station in Sydney to Katoomba station *or Leura station of you want more exercise.
And there are public buses operate to the echo point/look out and nearby.
Arrived here early morning to avoid crowd of tourist or students.

Such a nice scenic walk! Trails are well-maintained.

Too bad I didn't get pictures of the park where there are lots of cockatoos :(
