Very good coffee ☕. I liked the ambience - very lovely. They do not have much sitting - may be 4-5 tables inside and couple of tables outside. The service is very friendly and fast. Highly recommend the place for a coffee or a quick bite. They have some toasties. The one with salmon was delicious 😋.
There is some paid parking in the street.

The staff are lovely, the food and coffee are excellent. The only drawback is its popularity, but you can be lucky and find quiet moments. Lots of artists, musicians and literary types are regulars, so it’s easy to strike up a fascinating discussion.

Not only is it reasonably priced, strong smooth roast and cruisey ambience.

I really appreciated the kindly staff and good food. The lentil soup was made fresh and made to order. This is was not a fast food establishment and it took a long time to get our order. Not recommended if you are hurrying! My tea was hot and just what was required for a damp winter afternoon. Cozy atmosphere and feels like a popular place.

They were super awesome and friendly! They had the best sourdough sandwiches and the smoked salmon was amazing. The chai latte was on another level. So good with a little touch of honey they added. 10/10 amazing.

Alternative cafe with laid back vibe. Easy going staff. Great choritzo beans on toast and consistently excellent long blacks. Toilet. Wifi. Roast their own beans. Yummy chewy chocolate brownies too. Updated Nov '23 : New Zucchini Pesto Bacon Muffin - Yummy!

Had a really lovely lunch here. I ordered the leg ham, tomato and aioli toasted sandwich and my partner ordered the chorizo and beans on toast. Both meals were tasty, hot and served quickly. Will happily come back here.

Great cozy place with excellent coffee!

They also have a simple breakfast menu. We ordered the Beans on Toast ($14.5) – white beans, chorizo sausage, tomato & garlic toast; and the Mature Cheddar Toast ($11) with tomato and dressed leaves. Both toasts were made with organic sourdough, which was just perfect.

We couldn't stop coming back for more of their coffee!

Fantastic little cafe with delicious sourdough toasties and good coffee on offer. The art on the walls is a really nice touch. I’m thankful that we got the opportunity to give the elephant bean a try before we left Katoomba.

Cozy cafe with tasty sandwiches and very friendly staff.

There are many places to drink a coffee in Blue Mountain, but this place is unique and the attention is so good.

For me is the best coffee in all region around. The brownie is absolutely delicious, I can not explain how much good it is.

The owner is so kind and passionate about to make the best coffee and makes you feel as home.

I definitely will go back to this place again once I get to BM.

Lovely little cafe up "on the hill". I was up in Katoomba for UTA trail run and dropped into the quirky named Elephant Bean for a coffee and food. I loved the atmosphere and the food was great.

Great coffee for both of us and wonderful sandwiches. This is such a great place to go on a Blue Mountains trip! The service was very good and they clearly cared about everything they were serving. It's a cool vibe with lots of board games and books on the shelves.
