This cafe is always busy, the sign of the perfect spot to dine. The menu is boutique and has some offerings worthy of an upper-class feed. The first item that took my eyes was the baked eggs. I've tried a few in my time. However, this one rose above all others. It was mouth-watering, eggs sat in the middle surrounded by cooked onions and tomatoes with chorizo and cannellini beans. You can taste the basil throughout. Soak it with the 2 slices of sourdough, and you're left wanting another serving. Top notch. I complemented it with an affogato and table water. This is the perfect brunch to fuel me for today's hike.

This is CASH only, but there’s an ATM over the road.

My first thought was ‘oh why did I choose here’. It was hard explaining what I wanted and it arrived wrong. But the staff are really nice and the food was wow. So, forget the slow service )it was the only busy place in town, which says more than my review can); eat here.

Wonderful Cafe, food was presented well and tasted fantastic. Photos are of the French toast and the baking brekkie. Coffee was excellent as well. Would definitely dine here again. They do take card as payments but with a surcharge all very viable before ordering etc so no surprises which is good.
Due to the popularity space can be limited but it is definitely worth the wait for a table.

Great food and service. Very good coffee. I highly recommend the magic mushrooms from breakfast menu - delicious. They are dog friendly- have seating outside.

Great place for breakfast/morning tea/brunch.

Its a bustling place, but service is quick.

We had the Big Breakkie with a Vanilla Mint tea.

Eggs were fried just right, yolk waiting to burst, bacon was salty sweet and chorizo packed with flavour.

Downside was the spinach was a little too heavy handed with vinegar.

Great little cafe for small or big groups.

French toast and bacon and eggs were amazing.

Great breakfast food and a nice coffee. They DO accept card now as well with a small surcharge. There's 1hr meter parking on the road and they have a clean bathroom.

Delicious food ! I highly recommend for breakfast or brunch. There is a vast choice of teas as well.

Food was delicious, from the mushrooms to the spinach even! Eggs were cooked absolutely perfectly, everything came out hot and we couldn't been more happy!

We came over for breakfast. It's a tiny shop with an amazing reputation. The day we came was a public holiday. The staff was very nice. As they ran out of space, we settled outside first. When a table became available, they invited us in (as an option). We moved inside and continued with our breakfast.

Food was amazing especially their bagel was very soft and tender. The breakfast was amazing.

This place is highly recommended. Expect some waiting time if it's a busy day.

Pomegranate Cafe located in the heart of Katoomba offers the best coffee in town by a long shot ☕ This popular small quaint cafe provides breakfast and lunch 🥙 You might need to wait for a table but it’s worth the wait 🍲 The food and coffee is consistently good 👍 The service is fast and efficient 🙂

Staff were very friendly and accomodating and took our order promptly. Ordered the Egg Benedict and Big Brekkie with Hot Chocolate and Cappuccino.
Reasonably priced, with food being great. Cappuccino and hot chocolate (served with mini marshmellows) were good too.
Do note this place only takes cash, however ATMs are conveniently located across the road.

We loved everything about this place, you may have to wait for a table but it is worth it. It was actually another coffee shop in Katoomba that recommended this place and said this is where they have breakfast on thier day off. I had smoked salmon eggs Benny and my husband had the BIG breakfast it was huge. Great coffe and wonderful fresh juice👌

We had the corn fritters, big brekkie, bacon and eggs, and coffee. All of it was incredibly delicious with very generous portions. A feast for the eyes before being a feast for the taste buds and tummy! Would happily come here again if in the area. Staff was very friendly and attentive. We've had the chance to eat at many places in various cities, and, in each of those cities, this gem would easily have a line of people out the door. One of our top 5 breakfasts of all time for sure.

I went to Soul Side for Coffee & as they werent serving food at the time recommended Big Breakfast at Pomegranate!
Id only bought a Bacon & Egg Sandwich as was slightly peckish - Takes the Crown on my list for Upper Mountains.

Will be back.

We had a late lunch here, it gets quite busy around lunch time. I guess it’s becuz this place is located near train station and has lots of good selection on the menu.
Bagel and chorizo eggs toast were delicious.

Great little spot for coffee and food! We got the French toast and Chorizo + sweet potato scrambled eggs, both were delicious. It can get a little busy but was definitely worth the wait for a table :)

Great food and service. We tried the rocket salad, asparagus poached eggs and the tomato mushroom dish. They were all very tasty and we literally wiped our plates clean. The coffee was very delicious as well. Would highly recommend this place if you are in town.

Floor staff was nice and kind and the general vibe here was calm and pleasant.

I has frittata and Blue mountain tea, my mum had some sort of scrambled eggs on toast.
There was pieces of bread along with Frittata.
Frittata itself was well balanced and delicious but the bread was also soft inside and crunchy outside.

They only take cash.
