It can be counted as one attraction. Highly recommended!! My family and i really impressed by the trees interior design and the atmosphere over around. No matter the ground floor or the second floor, they have their own characteristics. It makes my day and feel like in the fairy house.

I love their decorations. Feels like I was in a fairytale. And the food is also great . I ordered their daily soup, which is the pumpkin soup in bowl. It comes with bread and butter , that’s so impressive. The beef sandwich is so stuffed and juicy. Their dessert is not too sweet which I love so much. The drink called “hot but no chocolate ” is the signature. I bought a bag of the powder ,which is $15. REMEMBER :Always keep enough time for waiting ,I waited at 40 mins even that was just 12:20, 20 mins after they opened.

This place is a must-visit if you're in Katoomba. You feel like you're in the middle of the forest, the decoration inside is very beautiful and truly unique. The whole staff is extremely attentive and kind. The food is amazing, tasteful, good portions, freshly made.
Make sure to investigate a little bit more about its origins... an interesting story, no doubt.

Undoubtedly the best experience in a restaurant for us. We went there few time before and loved the ambience, food and service always but this time it was beyond having just a good dining experience. The beautiful lady who came to take our order was lovely, she was so generous and polite. Rebecca was cleaning the menus with wipes. It was so good to see them take care of the place so well and the food was delicious. Everything was wowww!!!

This was amazing! Absolutely delicious food - I ate the best Reuben in my life. Interesting and tasty drinks and very friendly and accommodating staff. Trying to make it work for everyone with special requests and different group sizes.

Last time I came here was 10 years ago, where it was called “Common Ground” I really like their Barramundy burger back then. But they don’t have it anymore. However, the current menu is also great, I tried their Reuben, perfectly assambled. But what I want to highlight is their CAROB STEAMER. It’s a malted drink and I cannot stressed enough that it is a MUST ORDER, I absolutely love it! They said it is a healthier version of hot chocolate. I am in!! I ordered one with oat milk. Please, try them!

Plus! It is a very cute cozy place!

Must try the green kale bars! It looks like horse food but it is delicious. The food was simple but tasty. The atmosphere is a cross between a medieval tavern and a Hobbit house. Service was 'kind', beyond friendly. Would eat here again.

I liked deli sandwiches, roast beef one (deli rose) in particular, which was most popular for 50 years,
Deli pesto was great as well (chicken sandwich),
Cheesy potato soup and garden salad were alright not perfect.

Would highly recommend if you looking to try different cuisine.

Yellow Deli is a lovely restaurant with a beautiful ambience. The interiors are made of unused materials like wood and metals. We tried their Garden Burger with tomato basil soup since it was the only veggie option without eggs. The burger had tofu and veggies, tasted really good, and filled us up. It took about 20-25 minutes to get our food. We stopped by in December on our way back from the Blue Mountains.

I came to Yellow Deli for the second time after liking the atmosphere and design of the restaurant the first time. My husband's birthday was, so I ordered a cheesecake and asked if they had candles. The staff surprised us with a birthday song. And they were so kind and wonderful to give us that cake for free. That surprised and touched us.
The cakes are delicious, and the atmosphere is always warm with nice and welcoming staff. We will go to Yellow Deli every time we go to Blue Mountain.

Superb Food | Amazing Ambience | Always Crowded

This is my wifeys must go place whenever we are in Katoomba (happened 3 times already). Seems like it’s run by family, very cozy atmosphere and friendly staff.

Food options are limited but they all taste good, they ensure you enjoy the meal and your visit.

Be prepared to wait at least 15mins or so before you can get a table.

We tried Deli Pesto, Deli Lam and in Veg - Garden burger with soup + Yellow Submarine.

Amazing taste and absolutely loved it!!!

Loved everything in here. Sandwiches are the best. Oh, it was served with whole pickle, too 😍. Staff are pleasant and attentive.
I regret not taking a video of the whole place , but we will definitely come back to Katoomba just to have brunch at this place again.

Definitely a must visit on any trip to Katoomba. The interior of the restaurant is beautifully decorated, the service is excellent, and the menu is simple but fresh and delicious.

Amazing place. The pesto sandwich could have been less drippy to eat. The fresh breads were amazing.

Great drinks - mum loved the chai lattes & the smoothies & brewed Maté teas were delicious.
Cakes were amazing - we tried the cream cheese pie, date cake & carrot cake. The carrot cake was a 10/10 - we had it one day then went back another day for round 2
We had dinner there one night and enjoyed the chilli, sandwiches & salads. The portion sizes are generous & very reasonable pricing. The bread is also house made.

Service was very friendly & attentive. Cult vibes added to the ambiance.

Yellow Deli has always been one of my fav places to visit when coming to Katoomba. Even after many years the food is always spot on. My favourite is the Reuben and the green chai. The chai is so warming and the sandwiches are so soft and fresh. The atmosphere is cosy and the staff are very welcoming.

Such a beautiful, peaceful and cute quaint little cafe, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the wonderful calm atmosphere was palpable and the food well presented and delicious, thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable experience to all the staff at the the Yellow Deli Katoomba
