Katoomba Mountain Lodge

This accomodation is the best value for money in the blue mountains. As a backpacker it has everything you need. Shops are just up the road and everything is within walking distance. The train stations and bus stops are all up the road and there are hikes and trails everywhere. The owner is a hard working and genuinely nice person so you can guarantee that he’ll do anything to make your stay a pleasant one. It’s ideal

Affordable hostel.... the shared convenience is too little for the number of occupants.... you may need to be a line to take shower or use the loo..... the location is perfect and the proximity to train, churches, postal services etc is great.

I must say I think I disturbed some of the people in my room because of late entrance but it was amazing 💫💞

This is the perfect location for anyone looking for a little getaway! Friendly, flexible and welcoming staff. Cosy rooms with lots of natural light and beautiful scenery to admire on the balcony. Very handy to have your own basin with lots of mirrors. Shared bathrooms and showers with all linen, towels and soap provided (extra blankets and a heater for those chilly nights!) Located in the heart of Katoomba there is free parking at the lodge - less than 100m walk to the town centre and a 5min drive to The Three Sisters! This lodge is full of charm and character and is the only place I stay when visiting the stunning Blue Mountains 😊

nice clean room for a great price. was in town for a wedding and after staying at an Airbnb I last minute decided to spend one more night in town and booked this place last minute. Got a single room with shared bathroom. everything was nice and clean, great location, easy check in and check out. if you want a good night sleep on a budget, this is the place.

I really enjoyed staying at this lodge. If you are looking to stay somewhere in Katoomba, blue mountains, then I recommend you to stay in this lodge, as this is one of the best budget accommodation close to all tourist attraction in blue mountains. They have cheap dorm, private single, double bedrooms, kitchen, dining room and two lounge rooms with gas log fire. It is neat and clean at all times.

A clean, quiet and a conveniently charming place in downtown Katoomba. I've been coming back every couple of weeks in the Blue Mountains the last couple of months for bush walking, sightseeing and some much needed R&R away from work-related stresses and I've always chosen Katoomba Mountain Lodge to stay for a few days. There is a good-sized kitchen that is clean and with the basic kitchen utensils that you can use for your cooking. Just remember to wash and dry them afterwards as a courtesy to other guests. :) The dining room is quite spacious with a nice old-fashioned feel to it that I like, same as the sitting/entertainment room that I find cosy and just perfect. The staff's amazing and quick to address questions and requirements. Would recommend the place. Thumbs up!

Great place, low price in town centre. 7 mins walk from Katoomba station. Free car parking. Vintage, charming, spacious building. Rooms, bathrooms, toilets all clean. Walking distance to tourist attractions. 1 min to shops, supermarket, cafes. Free wifi that's actually fast! Kitchen, full facilities. Coin washing machine, dryer. Sociable if you want to chat with other guests in mornings and night. 2 cosy TV rooms with heaters, couches, cute cushions. Outdoor balconies with tables and chairs. Nice outdoor views, trees, fresh air. Rare to find a nice place like this. I had such a good experience. Definitely stay here!

Located in the centre of katoomba! Staff very friendly and the place was clean. Very quiet building with lots of places to unwind and relax after a days hiking. In comparison to other budget places I have stayed at, this place is chilled and of great value. Would have been nice to stay longer!

Despite a disrupted nights sleep due to a bad storm this place is really good. Very friendly staff who are full of good local information and a very cosy common room. This was needed as we arrived in snow and freezing temperatures!

My boyfriend and I stayed one night there and really love this place, tidy, cosy , quite , nice staff and also reasonable price. I definitely recommend it to every backpacker.
