What a wonderful spot for a morning walk with my dog! The trail is dog friendly (you can also take a night lit walk, but we prefer morning walks) and despite a light drizzle this morning, we found the mist quite refreshing and cool. The highlight of our walk was the cascades, which all absolutely adore. 🐾 🌿💦

**Blue Mountain National Park is not dog-friendly.

Visiting the Blue Mountains was a breathtaking experience. The vast expanse of eucalyptus forests gave the air a refreshing scent, and the blue haze that hung over the mountains was truly mesmerizing. I hiked to the Three Sisters, and the panoramic views were unforgettable. The quaint towns, friendly locals, and charming cafes added to the experience, making it a perfect blend of natural beauty and cultural charm.

Lovely walks. Queue at information desk and ask for suggestions based on the length of time you want to walk and the information desk will assist and tell you if there are path closures( may be many due to weather). We didn’t bother paying for the rides as you can walk to all the places that they go to for free. A lot of people at the popular viewing points that have immediate access from the coach tour parking.

As the rest of the blue mountains area, both paths are views are nice. You can enjoy walking on not too hard paths.

Beautiful walk, fully pathed and not too long at all. Multiple lookouts so plenty of room for everyone. So excited we were able to take our dogs! Would love to visit at night for the night walk!

One of my fav hikes in the blue mtns. Great in the day but also come back at night! I was there with maybe just 3 other people at night. Great experience.

We drove here from Bondi for a morning out. We arrived quite early around 10:30am. Parking is ample and expensive. There’s a short stay style car park which was $10 for 1 hour however the walks would take longer if you’re adventurous so we moved the car to another car park which was $20 for 1.5 hours.
I’d recommend arriving early as around midday/1pm it gets really busy.

We walked to the Honeymoon bridge first (which was shut due to rock falls) before walking to Katoomba Falls. A delightful walk with lots of steps but very scenic. We had our son (8 months old) in a carrier so it was hard work but worth it. Not suitable for wheelchairs or prams unless you want to carry them!

The scenery is breathtaking and only a snapshot of the blue mountains beauty! There is a visitor centre and shop at the three sisters lookout. There are so many other things to see so plan on multiple visits or spend a few days there camping or in one of the many airbnbs/hotels around.

I went there on a foggy and wet day and the atmosphere was amazing!
In rainy season check for road closures before you go hiking in the blue mountains!

We went over 2 days taking different trail walks to see the wentworth Falls. We found the first day foggy and could only see glimpses of Falls when heavy rain fell but nevertheless it was amazing to see the Falls in this way in mystical fog. The following day was fine and quite warm and we found probably the best lookout for the Falls which was the Princess rock lookout

Was able to see the falls from the skyway. Line took 30 mins. Unlimited rides and no specific time to follow if you buy tickets from the hop on hop off explorer bus.

Beautiful scenery, short hikes, lots of birds. Walked down from the train. Took the bus back to the train station. Bring swim wear, you can take a dip below the Cascade. Every little trail offers some new view and the distances are shorter than posted. Beautiful little creek behind the park at the top.
