Food is authentic and very tasty, my comrades and I enjoyed our meal very much. 🥸
The restaurant is decorated nicely and the thai music playing adds to the overall ambience. 🎶
Tom yam soup was spiced to perfection, but insufficiently sour and spicy in my opinion.🥲

Excellent Thai restaurant with very friendly staff. We were a group of 10 people and we were served very quick. I had Chicken Satay 🍢 for entree and a soup 🍜, Tom Kah Gai. The food was exceptionally good. Also, I tried the coconut rice 🍚 which was very tasty and everyone at the table loved it.

We Stumbled across this restaurant in Katoomba today Saturday the 6th of November. Just a little restaurant that seats about 40 people. Ordered some seafood dishes and didn't expect to much. The food came out and I was blown away. One dish I ordered was a mixed seafood dish, and it was sure mixed, combining scallops, squid, and real king prawns, not those Royal Red tasteless translucent $8.00 a kilo prawns, which most restaurants use these days. The food was as good as it gets, real Thai food. Not westernised at all. I was in food land, I looked around and noticed many awards for food excellence. This restaurant has been here for 33 years and has been owned and operated by the same family since .
I rate the food and service 5 star and and the rest who cares. Delicious Moorish, generous and excellent quality ingredients. If you pass through Katoomba this restaurant is a must visit, you will be back for sure, it's closer than Thailand

I come here on a weekly basis with my parents. We love it. Everything we order is always fresh and flavourful. It can get busy and the staff are overwhelmed at times but that's the only negative thing I can comment on.

It was the first Thai in Katoomba, opening in the mid '80s when we lived nearby. A friend who had lived in north east Thailand said it was the most authentic Thai food she had eaten since returning. We used to go there a bit and always enjoyed it.

We've now moved back to the Mountains and have been a couple of times in the last month. It's just as delicious as it was back then. Different flavours from the plethora of other Thai places around and lots of vegetarian options if that's important for you. The "Chork Dee" chicken was fabulous, as were the other dishes we have had. Highly recommended.

Delicious authentic thai food! Generous portions, with fresh prawns and meat at affordable prices. Pleasant ambience and good service.

Together with their great food, the Chardonnay from Mudgee is beautiful and nice match with every single food served. Excellent wine selection too.

I had the Chork Dee Chicken after a day of hiking in the Blue Mountains while visiting from the US. I ordered it spicy and it was amazing. Sticky and dry with crunchy fried onions on top.

I've been back on a trip and had it again - same result. Great chicken.

I think a lot about this dish back home and it's been 13 yrs since my first time eating here - what's the secret Chork Dee?!!

I'm currently trying to make all recipes with similar ingredients and flakes of ginger.

This restaurant has a lovely feel with it's high ceilings, nice colour palette and personalised photos on the wall. The food was great, the chork dee chicken, especially delicious and the service friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I've been coming to Chork Dee since I was 5 years old and it's still hands down my favourite restaurant in the mountains. Delicious, consistently good, authentic food. Portion sizes are amazing and the prices are very very reasonable. 20 years later and I still eat here at least once a week! A wonderful family owned little gem in the mountains, do not miss out if you're passing through!

Amazing authentic Thai food with an amazing set of staff. Would recommend the Chork Dee Chicken and the Pad Thai as the two mixed together are heavenly. Amazing drinks and excellent service. A wonderful ambiance tied with calming music will bring you back for more.

We just happened to find Chork Dee Thai and decided to give it ago for a eat in meal. From the first moment until we paid and left it was EXCELLENT. The service was outstanding and the food was very yummy. We asked about BYO and they were good with that. Really enjoyed our dining experience and would definitely go back. Thak you Chork Dee Thai.

FABULOUS FOOD and EXCELLENT SERVICE. The best satay chicken sticks I've ever tasted. Our first night in town we putchased their take away, our second night in town we dined in, and for the rest of our days in Katoomba, we purchased their satay sticks for lunch. Highly recommended.

Good food, good service, very busy in Easter so a bit slow on serving but understandable

I visited before going to Blue Mountain. I ate a meat salad. The staff was kind and delicious.
