Sanwiye Korean Restaurant.

Delicious and umami flavoured. Each dish and sides we ordered were tasty and had their unique charm. Service was super quick and we had an excellent table with a view of the street! Highly recommend booking ahead to avoid disappointment as it fills out pretty quickly. Recommend the ginger tea!

The bibimbap added to the beef was delicious enough to take out. The soybean paste stew was a little salty, but it had plenty of ingredients. The food quality was certainly better than downtown, but it was cheaper.

Delicious Korean food with a generous portion (had to takeaway leftover Bibimbap!!!). Came because the reviews said the food was authentic and the portions were quite big and it did not disappoint 👍

Arrived around 6pm on a Sunday and it was already almost full 👌🏼 many people actually make a reservation but people also finish their food fairly quickly.

Atmosphere was good - not too noisy - and the staff were friendly.

Great food! Generous serving of Beef in the Noodle Stir Fry. Cozy ambiance but would be crowded on peak hours. Excellent service!

Soooooo much flavoooouuuurrrrrr. Every dish was so fresh and tasty. Didn’t feel heavy or oily at all either, just great food.

We had the most delightful dinner tonight at Sanwiye. Luckily we made a booking because they were so busy. We got the perfect table at the window too. The meals were fresh and tasty and came out very quickly. Very friendly staff too.

It was really delicious. Compared to other Korean restaurants, it was perfect with authentic Korean flavors, excellent customer service, and reasonable prices. I was disappointed with the poor quality of food at a new Korean restaurant called Jiggle in Leura few days ago, but this Korean restaurant here satisfied my craving for Korean food again. Highly recommended. This restaurant pursues the true taste of a Korean mother's cooking

Charming little Korean restaurant in the heart of Katoomba.

Seems this little restaurant has gain a very popular following! So many people were turned away before 18:00, due to the bookings being full for dinner. Needless to say, they are busy from 17:00.

I am so happy to write this update review that, aside from gaining more customer base, the food is still tasty and generous portions.

I ordered their spicy ($2 additional)​ Korean fried chicken. Oh my goodness. It's so yummy! For people who can't eat chilli, they can do mild version. Rice is extra.

My favourite Korean dish is japchae, and this is still the dish I highly recommend at Sanwiye, if you like stir fry noodles.

Service was very friendly and attentive. Lots of locals come here.

Whenever we are tired during trips, We always try Korean restaurants. This is a very place for soul foods. Especially she seemingly the boss of this restaurant was asked to provide a little spicy pepper powder in order for me to feel hot one because of exhausted myself.

For most of Korean it could be felt not delicious. But those can be fit to you by adding a small amount of salt and soy source free of charge.

This place is a must to try if you are Korean food lover while in blue mountain. The food is amazing, ordered sundubu jjigae and fried chicken, both are so delicious!

Decent Korean dishes. The bibimbap was good.

Lots of vegan options.

The street-side table near the window is the best seat in town.

The business is really hot.

An authentic and unassuming Korean restaurant- so delicious, warming and generous. Easy ordering, efficient service and outstanding food, the spicy chicken and dumplings were fantastic but our favourites were the charred Edamame and the Kimchi Jigae which were perfect!! Highly recommended!!

Delicious food, lovely atmosphere and staff. A must go. We will be back for sure.

One of the best Korean restaurants I have been too. The food here is delicious and flavorful, which was a surprise for a little eatery. The service was also brilliant and staff were very accommodating. Definitely a place to check out.

We arrived for late lunch on a Sunday and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant was initially empty, but we were quickly joined by many other patrons. We had the Pork Dumplings, Beef Bulgogi, spicy Korean fried chicken, Sundubu Jjigae, Miso Soup, and Boong-A-Pang. All the portion sizes were excellent and the food was very flavourful. Would definitely recommend.

The food is absolutely delicious and the ambience is lovely for a low-key place such as this.

We ordered the Japchae, the fried chicken and the beef bulgogi. Every item is yummy. Portions are generous.

Ok I have to say one of the best house kimchi I ever had.
And also their dumplings were soooooo yummy! I was surprised to find a nice Korean restaurant here around blue mountains. The staff were friendly and was very reasonable priced. I would definitely recommend here if you are looking for something alternative.
