Best quality ice cream in Chicagoland area. I always make an effort to visit Oberweis when in town! Coffee flavor ice cream is the best.

Edit 15.8.19- I had to give Oberweis another shot and this time the flavors worked just right to make my day.

Black Raspberry with Chocolate Chunks; the sweetness of Raspberry Ice-cream with Bittersweet Chocolate chunks tickled all my taste buds.

I'd also like to mention their exceptional customer service. Besides, kids are very well taken care of; You can find Games, Colors, Coloring pages too. My 4 years old loves their signature balloon.

Once I stepped in, I realized It’s a combined store with a burger joint.

The fact that Most people heading in with the Milk bottles either to return or to refill proves how famous is their milk as well as other dairy products.

Few uncommon flavors like Blueberry Pie, Brandy, Mango Pomegranate.
I chose Pistachio Ice cream however, it was a sheer disappointment!

The Pistachio Chunks in the ice cream tasted bitter I simply couldn’t take another bite & eventually dumped it, plus the Cone wasn’t fresh at all, it was soggy as opposed to what they claim their cones to be.
May be not my day!

Fresh Cone feels warm when it’s handed over; that crunch in every bite with a toothsome Guilty pleasure melting into mouth is what I call pure heavenly bliss.

Thankfully I had another scoop of chocolate Chip ice cream which kinda saved the day.

I've been coming to this location for years and Addison had to be the coolest employee that's ever helped us. She showed us the pins on her hat, but mentioned that she doesn't have an employee of the month pin. Decoration is beautiful. My niece's fav ice cream place. Lava cake is a must try.Staffs are friendly.

The best vanilla ice cream hands down and I’m not that much of vanilla fan, I normally prefer chocolate ice cream but the vanilla ice cream at this place has a unique taste that doesn’t taste like regular vanilla ice cream. My friend says it kinda tastes like the leftover milk you have after eating some lucky charms lol. I usually get the Fudge brownie sundae, it has a warm brownie at the bottom and a scoop of your choice of ice cream at the top! Very tasty!

The malts and ice cream are delicious. The staff is friendly, prompt and courteous. The atmosphere is upbeat. I love that you can also buy products here from their freezers like milk and ice cream pints. They also have board games, coloring sheets, crayons and are attached to a great burger place!

Their Peanut Butter Milkshake was absolutely phenomenal! This will definitely be a place I stop when I am in town.

I'm absolutely delighted with Oberweis ice cream - it's the best quality I've ever tried and it is still my favorite. Only the ice cream that I helped my dad make at home could possibly compete. I received good service, and judging by the large number of patrons I observed while my family ate their ice cream, I can't say that I was surprised.

We got a gift card for this store and decided to give it a try. It turned out to be best gift as the quality of the Dairy here is awesome and very healthy for kids and adults as well. I just love the setting of the chess printed tables with chess pieces to play. I just love the starwberry ice cream here which they serve with cresh cream which takes it to next level. A very good place to visit as a whole.

Very Verrrrrrryyyyyyyyy Good ice cream here. We always go here to get our chocolate milk, play a round of chess, and overall a good time. Probably some of the best ice cream places around, and the best chocolate milk ive had so far.

Love it. Great Price. Great Service. I feel like the best one is Chocolate Coconut Almond. An alternative is Mint Chip. Love how you can pick your own music. Happy that I can listen to Ed Sheeran out of the house right now.

An Illinois staple. Simply the best ice cream anywhere, including Disneyland! Never too crowded, there is almost always an open chess board to pass the time while enjoying your favorite flavors - or some new ones. A must visit!

The term "you get what you pay for" is fitting for Oberweis. Oberweis ice cream is a little more expensive but the product is second to none. They are very consistent, generous with their scoops and have an excellent staff.
