I really am glad I found this place. I didn't look for any groceries but was curious about the hot food section. I tried the spicy teriyaki chicken and it was great. Very flavorful with the right amount of kick - in the range of medium-very spicy but great with plain rice. You also get a small salad with it. Service was very fast although I came very early. I would definitely come back for more!

If you miss your mother food, there correct address. I’m not Asian, I’m talking about vibe and fresh food, also compassion. Basic, delicious and super tasty 😋

Fast and delicious! The teriyaki is consistently high quality- I always want to branch out but it's so comforting. Also a decent collection of beer and wine along with a ton of snack foods and necessities like batteries, sewing kit, single-serve medications like Pepto, Advil, etc. Really glad this place is around!

A hole in the wall with one of the best teriyaki (spicy and regular) in SEA. Cozy vintage dining area with tons of drink options too. Also recommend the gyoza and short ribs.

Love the teriyaki chicken! Best in Seattle in my opinion. (Spend a little more and substitute for the fried rice). I work in the area on occasions and make a point of visiting, even during the current pandemic.

5 star for convenience and good hot food, my hotel was around the corner and a homeless dude told me to go here, I got food cooked right away and got sodas, candy and beer, total win, sweet and sour chicken and rice, portion was decent for the convenience, I could have ate two orders though lol, thanks guys 👍🏻

Great teriyaki chicken. Great option if you work or live downtown or First Hill and don't want to cook lunch. Staff is friendly. Theres a small seating area or you could take your food to the nearby Freeway park.

You won't find anything cheaper with this quality anywhere in the city.

You'd never know it by the exterior but this place is great. Their terriyaki is always satisfying and is made quick and fresh. I like the beef/chicken combo. Also often overlooked but they do breakfast sandwiches too which is the best breakfast around the area. Good selection of snacks and beer as well. Just wish they were open more!

In town from Portland for the weekend. After having a VERY mediocre meal in an expensive restaurant, my boyfriend was still hungry and we stopped on our walk back to the hotel. Don't let the exterior scare you. It is an old school, nothing fancy about it and should we even go in kind of place, but do...do go in, you won't be disappointed. If it had any kind of atmosphere, we probably would have eaten there every night. The spicy chicken teriyaki is delicious, but not for the faint of heart.

I eat here quite a bit. The Chicken terriyaki is a must as well as the Katsu chicken! The side egg rolls are also worth trying. I've pretty much had everything on the menu and was never disappointed.

If you want more rice with the Terriyaki chicken, ask for no salad.
