Samway Market

Samway Market is one of the best stores in White Center for fresh groceries, seafood, and rare Asian food items. The Khmer owners always greet the customers. The young men, Billy and Jamie, are fantastic if you meet them during the checkout. They have good interaction with the customers. I love them.

This store has a Taco truck next to it. So you can enjoy the fresh deli from the store, as well as the taco from the food truck around the corner.

This place is our go-to for mangos and tropical fruits. They are so good we buy them by the case. The owners are super friendly and always happy to help!

This place is tucked away, and hard to find if you don't know what you're looking for. It has so may great items of all type. This trip I bought pans, scarves, a strainer and a knife sharpener. They also have seafood, vegetables and a wide variety of all that is from the Far East. It feels like an authentic Chinese market.

It appears no one is rating this market. The Khmer family are lovely people who make efforts to speak different languages to provide the best customer service. I overhear Khmer, Vietnamese, and Spanish. I can say they are always welcoming, every time my family and I step in. Loyal customers we are :)

I used to live on Vashon Island, but this place was my weekly grocery stop on my way to the ferry, and I miss those regular visits. Once or twice a month, I would buy my weekly needs AND a bulk sack of beans or rice an a rotating basis. The items are amazingly polycultural, representing every ethnicity in its diverse White Center neighborhood. For me, it was always a treat! I need to start doing the lengthy bus trip at least once a month. It would be worth it.

There are many things here that are rare and hard to find.
Produce and fruits are the stars.
