Safeway

Safeway is a nice store plenty of parking although watch yourself when you're entering and exiting due to a congested egress point. Inside everything was laid out well and clean. Plenty of aisles and plenty of checkout registers. The food selection looked wide and varied. Today I went without a car so my viewing was limited but I came away with what I wanted in a fairly short time..

Great place great experience but there is a problem with a couple people I have there one person at the deli is convinced that I am a thief and I'm getting real tied of her groundless accusations. they are older black stringy hair, looks tired usually wears an overcoat I don't think they served me with gloves either and what she served me was rather lacking for what I am paying. And Candice seems to give me nasty looks and seems to pipe down when I walk by when she's talking to other co workers of hers she may be spreading rumors about me. I mean she knows nothing about me or who I am as a person. And this is a repeated problem I seem to have I believe that the best course of action would be a re-evaluation of their work ethics and their contribution to the store and their community that they serve as an employee of your fine establishment. Thank you

I’ve never had any bad issue with this store. Can usually find what I need, employee’s are nice. And your doughnuts are the best!

Good deals here and nice warm people... Beautiful people with the the most wonderful customer service. I love my neighborhood Safeway and I thank God for the workers and the store itself.

Very warm precise and I appreciate the item given to me so freely and I didn't feel awkward or like a charity case lol

It's a Safeway...

'Decent Ethnic Foods selection and 24 hour convenience when we're not in a pandemic. They're often out of things I want, sometimes will carry every version of a product except the one I want and it's frustrating when they quit carrying the one brand of something I like but that's a first world problem and I typically know another store that has what I'm looking for. I'm glad they're in my neighborhood and really appreciate the BECU branch.
Like everywhere else, prices are up. But their Club prices can help if you're willing to share your telemetry with Corporate America.

Things get a little sketchy here in the wee hours, (make that a LOT sketchy!) I'll never understand the attraction of hanging out in a supermarket parking lot.

Be prepared to find the shelves nearly bare, especially if something's on sale. I've been to several other Safeways in the area and they don't seem to be having the supply issues that this store does. Were it not for the location I wouldn't shop here.

This is the biggest Safeway I've ever seen!
It's way out of my way. I live in the 2700 block Southwest and this one is it like 9800 block Southwest.
I have a vacation day and I have hadJemplers breakfast sausage on my list for months. Google tells me this is the only Safeway within a reasonable drive that carries it. I could work a recommended it. Sure enough I found it!
We're actually live almost across the street from the Admiral Safeway a little bit south. So I had my Safeway list and bought some more stuff and headed out.
It was a great experience with easy parking and a quick self check out.
Highly recommend!

I’m New Out In Seattle , I Don’t Really Do This Review Stuff But I NEED To Take A Moment And Say How Much Sari From The Deli Makes Me feel At Home With Her Outrageously Good Sandwiches . Every Time I Go To Get A Sandwich , I Get Very Excited Just To See Her Because She Serves me With A Smile Even Though My Order Is Always Extra . She Never Judges My Cravings . Overall.. Easy to navigate, well stocked & friendly staff. Surprising, considering the location.

OMG! If you can get there at 6am, Safeway still makes their own fresh, warm bagels. So delish, right out of the ovens. Your work crew will love you!

Sari in the Deli was fantastic. This was my original Safeway when I lived half a mile away and I hadn't been in since moving to the downtown west Seattle area in August; however my first time back it was as busy as rush hour traffic, but after the pharmacy, Sari made the trip much more enjoyable. She was extremely sweet, and charismatic and helped me save some money. Give Sari a raise.

Safeway has been around for many, many decades and has always been a solid grocery store that can be counted on for cleanliness, quality foods, and low prices. (did I write that review? Looks awfully boilerplate, so I'll add that this one is decent, large parking lot despite central city location, and the restroom is easily accessible; however, it's also pretty gross, dimly lit, and don't be surprised to find that you're sharing the single toilet bathroom with a crispy critter who's huddled in the corner under the air dryer...
That said, being homeless is a bummer so I just leave 'em be. I appreciate that mgmt isn't gestapo about it like many other places around town. Much better than them doing their business outside.)

I had a not so good experience here before because every time I go through the cashier's there is something happening (I've waited for over 30 minutes to be attended because long lines and short staff, there has been a few times were items were charged twice by an accident by the cashier, there has been times that the price at the register is not the same as the price showed on the aisles...etc.) BUT all I have to say is that as much as they mess up is as much as they fix things up and quicly. Every time I had a mismatched price, they checked the aisle and went with the correct price, every time they have charged me multiple times for an item that I only got once, they have reimbursed it to me immediately, so yeah, this is not the best trained Safeway but the managers really try their best in making sure the clients leave happy. So, kuddos for that!

This is located in "unincorporated King county". That means you are going see plastic bags, lower prices and more variety. The classic staff always brings their winning personality. People like Read, Pat, Janet and David. The customers that come through can be a bit colorful and sometimes you are treated to a show as well..🙃

It's been my grocery store for 10+ years, a lot of the staff has been there for a long time too. It's clean and the produce section is much larger with higher quality items than the other Safeways in the area.

Awesome store I come here about every 2 days.
NOW that being said I'm going to go off on a few of you "people" that commented.
ASHWEN: Did you seriously just ask why there is no walmart around? Thank God there isn't. Because it would put all the other smaller stores out of business. How can you prefer Wal-Mart to Safeway? Basically what you're saying with that sentence is " I don't care about the quality or the freshness of my produce or any of my food for that matter. All I care about is paying 5 cents less for that loaf of bread." Yea no. Wal-Mart can stay where they are and you are more then welcome to stop complaining and go shop there.
Now for those other people that said they were racially profiled; I seriously doubt that seeing as to how I've had loss prevention follow me around and ask for my receipt multiple times. And I'm pretty dang white. It is annoying and I don't like it but unless they are targeting white people which is what I've actually seen happen there is no profiling going on.
As for Johnathan; the people who insist that they have been in retail and have managed this many stores 99.99999% of the time are lying. And I do believe that to be the case with you as well. I get it being a shift supervisor isn't easy but it's not the same as being a general manager.

So, let's face it: the Just4U app pretty much always?? gyps me out of a coupla-three bucks at the checkout aisle. I always check my receipts for extra bux. Get dat cash.
Sometimes I've gotten almost twenty bux back on larger shopping trips because whatever the scan fukkuppzz might be

^^ Typically, as I peruse my receipt for errors I'll bounce over to the Customer Service Desk & ask whichever friendly clerk is on duty. to please refund my $3.72 ( < or whateva da goof is fromthat shopping trip ) and they'll gladly do so.

On the other hand?? The app Alsoreminds you when your Rewards are about to expire e.g. i pulled into same store aa always and got a message saying a buncha my rewards were going to go away tomorrow.
I checked and *booyah* twennybux off my entire bill < hell-yusss. With other discount deals etc. I ended up saving 59% total, store tots gorge as per usual.

Very expensive versus most other stores (expect your grocery bill to be 30% higher i.e. if you budgeted $180, expect to pay $240+). But they do have variety on shelves, so, there's a trade off. I only use Safeway for only 1 thing really (my secret so they don't raise the price).

I frequent this Safeway location because it is only a couple miles from my place of residence. The store is always clean and the staff is mostly friendly. They often have sales on soda… like “buy 2 get 3 free” on Pepsi and Coke products. Make sure to get their app and you can do a pre-shopping and they’ll have it ready for you to come pick it up!
