Butera Market

I went to check out this market to see if the fruit & veggies were cheaper than my usual go-to grocery store, I noticed that the employees were very helpful & if they didn't know the answer, they don't stop until they find out (like where is this or that). I like that attitude 😉, mi ma también le gusta que unos hablan español. Everything was well stocked & organized in the store, just a bit hard to find the bathroom but eventually found it. 👍

Great produce. Prices are fair. Store is very clean.

Today I visit the Butera in Palatine is the best and cleanest Butera store . I recently shopped at Butera Norridge it was very dirty also visit Butera in Algonquin location meat and chicken was disgusting and store very dirty and had a bad smell. I complemented the store manager at Palatine to let him know how clean and organised the store was.

I wanted to personally thank Jonathan in the Deli department / counter. He was working all by himself on Sunday, September 3rd. I had a fairly large lunchmeat order that he was helping me with. There was a rude, ignorant woman who was being nasty and asking Johnathan why he was the only one working the counter. Jonathan kept his professional demeanor while he finished serving me even though this woman kept making impolite comments.I want to make sure that Jonathan receives the praise that he deserves because he was really wonderful. Thank you Johnathan for your terrific service!!!

Awesome deli. Great selection of produce, bakery breads, international items, and baked goods. Not a huge store but has everything you need which is nice. Not like walking through a warehouse!

Katy was so helpful. Replaced expired horse radish. Very helpful and kind.

A good place to walk through and find good deals. Don't walk through when your hungry.

Good overall experience, the store is clean and had a good selection of food at good prices. It was pretty empty on a sat morning.

Some items should never be out of stock because driving there and not getting what you want can be frustrating.

I shop here every couple of months since it was a Joe Caputo's. Reasonable pricing and very good sale pricing. The produce and deli departments are huge. Some of the non-sale deli prices seem high to me at times. Their meat department T-Bone steaks are sometimes closer to Porterhouse steaks and never had a tough one from them. They also have a wide variety of middle-eastern and European packaged goods.

Cheap produce and deli. The waits usually not bad if you go during certain times. This is our "GO TO" grocer/market. Prices are competitive and or lower than anyone in the area. I'd say about 80% of the food we consume comes from Butera. If there's ever a line it's due to staffing issues and worth the wait. As mentioned before the deli is nice, as is the selection of meats and food around the world. During the great egg shortage of 2022&2023 they had the Lowest prices in the area ($1.49 a dozen) at times. Great frozen food selection, bakery, liquor department, I could go on. Just check them out!!!!!!!!!

Best store to buy groceries, prices are cheaper compared to others. Huge selection of produce which I love.

Our Naperville location closed so we were excited to see one on our way home from Arlington Heights! Much bigger store than the old Naperville location with huge deli. Always can find good sales too.

Favorite grocery store when it comes to vegetables, good selection of all kinds of food.

You can find huge selection of apples and other fruits.

Fantastic place for fresh produce. Great selection of Hispanic, European and Asian foods. Great deli selection and fresh meats. Super clean! Much less expensive than most of the grocery stores.
ETA: Still a great choice.
