I've always been met with friendly service here! My one protip: unless you are just browsing, search ahead and order online. The website will catch stock that can be hard to locate in-store.

Joe in the shoe department at the Bloomington, IL store is very knowledgeable. Saw me for 2 seconds and recommended a different shoe to get my knees and body aligned right. He was very patient in allowing me to ask questions, see all my options, qnd help order them online since they weren't in stock. He went above and beyond in customer service! I would highly recommend going there!

I like the guy Dustin in the bike department. He is very kind guy, friendly, very caring and understanding and he has a big heart of GOLD! Whatever my eBike have a problem, he fixed it. GREAT JOB DUSTIN! You are #1!

Ben in footwear is the best employee in that place. I was there in town on business speed to buy a new pair of shoes and ran into this young man. I would hire this kid in a great beat at my business. Keep up the good work Ben your keeping that place honest.

I haven't had any problems here! I buy my shoes from Dick's and the shoe department staff has always been considerate with me trying on their shoes. They can clearly see that I wear medical grade orthotic devices and they have never made me feel awkward/uncomfortable with having to put my devices into the shoes I try on. They don't stare at me or ask me questions about why I wear them- they just do their job! No questions, no comments, no judgement.

I also have bought leggings from here. They were out of my size so the employee who was helping me went online to have them mailed to me. 3 business days later, I had my stuff. No shipping fees added. I just paid for the merchandise and tax as if I were making a purchase at the register.

I really don't understand why other people are whining in their reviews! The world doesn't revolve around them- it revolves around Dick's! LOL

I am extremely pleased with the staff at this store. I decided to buy a SOLE treadmill. I am glad I didn't buy it over the internet. When I developed problems after approximately 6 months into my warranty, SOLE was tried to void the warranty because it was on a sun porch. The staff was extremely helpful and solved my problem. Brandon intercede on my behalf and was instrumental in getting a replacement treadmill. This incident validated my belief that it is better to buy local.

I bought a new set of golf clubs here, and I drove back a few weeks later to get them regripped (nothing wrong with the grips on my new clubs—I have big hands and prefer larger grips than new clubs come with). I showed up right as the store opened at 9AM. The manager told me that his golf staff come to work at 2PM, and they’d likely have them regripped and ready for pick up by later that afternoon or evening. However, due to him seeing that I live a fairly good distance out of town, and with a forecasted snowstorm coming in the afternoon, he personally regripped all of my clubs that morning so I wouldn’t have to drive back in inclement weather later that day. I’m greatly appreciative of him putting his customers first and foremost and watching out for my best interests. Very classy gesture.

Decent store. Nice selection. Some of the prices are a little inflated over other stores but they do have a better selection of sporting goods apparel and items.
