New Vision Theatres Ovation Cinema Grill

This was our first visit here since we don’t live in Bloomington. My whole family got food and drinks. Our service and food were great! We spent about $50 for 3 dinners and some drinks with a tip. It’s kind of expensive but to me it is no different than dropping the typical $30 - $40 for popcorn and sodas at our theatre back home. You just expect to pay more at a theatre. At least with this you get dinner and it is served to you. The chairs lean back a bit. There is so much leg room and space. Sooo comfortable! You also have a service button and your own little light button. The sounds and picture quality are fitting with any other cinema. Great quality. If you’ve never been.... I highly recommend giving it a try! You’ll love it!

Reserved seats are comfortable and clean (even for larger or elderly patrons) with lots of leg room. Sound and screen are excellent. Food is quite good and cooked when you order, so it usually arrives about 20-30 minutes into the movie. Servers are friendly and helpful. Free refills on non-alcoholic beverages is a great perk, although the glasses are large enough you might not need any. Arrive early to order with the lights up :)

Such a great time! The seating and theater were immaculate. The service was excellent and the food was really good.

The seats are decent enough but not super comfortable. The food/concessions are expensive, but are of a decent quality. The quality of their screens and sound are both excellent.

What makes this place worth 5 stars is the servers. Not having to wait in lines, having concessions brought to you is the absolute best. Just push the call button on your seat and you are set!

Must order tickets ahead of time to ensure a reserved seat. Food is always good. Never had a bad meal. Always good food. Servers are on the spot and are curious. Alcohol is available and they have a full service bar. Nice if you arrive early and want to sit and relax. Just a pleasant atmosphere and good time.

After hearing that they remodeled this theater a few months ago, I thought I'd give it a try. The food here is fancier than others and food prices are slightly higher than average (which is understandable cause it's better quality), but the ticket prices are about the same as other theaters in the area. The theater itself is very modern and clean and it's nice that you can order food while watching the movie (only theater I've been to that does that). The staff is friendly as well! One thing I will suggest though is that they need to serve you quicker. Overall, I've been here many times and I'm never let down! :)

This was our first time visiting Ovation Cinema. The seats were very comfortable, the food was great and the prices were reasonable. We loved the fact that they offered different menu options and drinks. Although, at the end of the movie, the theater had a power outage, due to the weather. We were given two tickets to come back at anytime. We will definitely drive back to Bloomington to see another movie.

Growing up this was a different theater but with Ovation taking over the past few years I find myself going out of the way to visit and dine at this movie theater!

You have your own designated seat, personal service at a push of a button, and personal dim lights for eating.

Service is usually prompt and the viewing is always on time. The prices are not terrible but depending on what you get the prices vary. Great food every time I go though!

This is a nice theatre. Just being able to have a drink with the movie puts it above AMC. The concession is a little pricey but worth it for the convenience of not having to leave your seat. Speaking of seats they are very comfortable and spacious. I did find myself wishing they had reclining seats with footrests but other than that I loved watching Rob Zombie's Three From Hell here.

We've been two times. Once with the kids and once for a date night. Both experiences were great. Everyone loved their food. Their side salad was awesome, huge and I had sliders both times that were great. Can't wait to go back!

Great night out to see a movie, eat dinner, and have some drinks. Lobby/bar area is very big and a great place to hang out before/after the movie to drink or eat. Food is about what you would expect (~$12 but good quality food). Drinks are about what you would expect ($5-7 but you get plenty). Only issue is that it seemed like they were slightly understaffed so service could be a little faster.

Overall: great place to have a fun night out with friends.

We love going to the movies, and when you add full service menu options, it gets that much better! Want a drink, an adult beverage, if you will? Not a problem, they'll card you, then give you a wrist band when you buy your movie tickets. Afterwards, once seated, a server will meet you at your seat, and take your food order. Don't worry, you can still get popcorn and candy, too!

I have gone there multiple times an loved each an every visit. I have gone on date nights with the wife as well as brought the children. The service was amazing an the food was great. It does get pricey if you bring a large crowd but that is anywhere. We go once or twice a month an live almost an hour away. We will keep coming back. Please take reviews on here with a grain of salt an if you want to experience the movies, go for yourself. =)

Went here with my 3 older kids. We felt like we were at on a vacation. Service was impeccable, . We did get service throughout our meal, probably because there weren't many people in the theater. I would not want along of service during the movie. I would rather call when I needed it. Food is less expensive than a restaurant. This is what I call dinner and a movie!

We went to a o'clock show and this was our first time there. We arrived a little late took our seats and got our orders taken and served very fast. I'd imagine if its busier service might be slower. But if your looking for a quiet place to watch a movie with your sweetie this is it!!!

This place is so cool. You can order food from your seat while you watch the movie. I love that I don't have to miss anything if I want a refill or dessert. The pizza and Mac n cheese is delicious, and the popcorn is always fresh. Plus you can get unlimited popcorn refills. There is a tray that slides out in front of your seat to hold your food. My only complaint, if any, is it's more pricy and sometimes it can be annoying to have the screen blocked for a second or someone's order light on for a while during the movie. But it's worth it for the experience.

Great food and drinks (even adult beverages!) delivered to your seats; worth every penny. Our popcorn wasn't fresh so they took it off our bill (nice); otherwise perfect.

The service and food are amazing, and its reasonably priced. Since it's a Carmike theater they also have the standard discounts on tickets during certain times as well as the refill bucket. Overall this is a very nice theater that is well maintained and very comfortable with a touch of class.

Favorite theater. You get dinner and a movie all in one so you don't have to worry about being late for you movie because dinner ran late.wait staff is always quick and friendly. I buy my family gift certificates to here all the time it's out of the way for me by 45 min6but is well worth the drive. Love love love it

The seating alone makes this a great and comfortable place to watch a movie. The only thing that would make it more comfortable is to have recliners. The food is excellent with a variety of options for even picky eaters. Tuesday is $5 day. Ovation is the best movie theater in town. Hands down.
