TA Travel Center

Eventually I found good shop to do maintenance. They are professional and nice people and they answer questions without complaining. Very friendly. Also important thing they are quick and they called me about within1 hour of checking in. They respect truckers time Really appreciate what they doing. Thank you Mechanic Johnny.

By far and away one of the cleanest and quietest truck stops we've been to. No idea how this place could be less than 5 stars. We were set up for disappointment pulling in after reading the reviews, but this place was amazing. The fuel isle was clean, trash emptied everywhere, grass mowed and no garbage blown up against fences, etc. Trust me I looked while walking the dog. The bathrooms are immaculate as they obviously clean them often. Talked with Brandon at Country Pride while he took his break outside and he was friendly and welcoming. Took our 10 hour break here too. Yes, there are a lot of reserves here and we'd like to see that cut in half, too many TA's don't have enough free parking. The restaurant was clean, warm and the staff excellent. Food is extremely high priced, even compared to Dennys. The Country Pride chain could think about lowering their prices a bit. The food was very good and cooked nicely, but portions are small. As to the TA shop! It has been cleaned up beautifully! Fresh paint on the building shows this TA puts priority on the drivers! We had a PM done in the evening and Jesse was professional and friendly. He got the work done quickly and did a great job. It's nice to find a mechanic at a TA that truly cares about and respects truck drivers. As a final note, to the drivers, please keep this TA clean and reward them for putting so much (recent) work into the facilities to make this a great truck stop. We all complain about the nasty places we have to stay. This TA obviously listened and is making the effort to make our stays as perfect as possible. Let's give them our business for that.

Just got a phone call from Darcy from the TA in Bloomington Illinois following up on a card issue that I had the night before. She made sure that the transactions were correct and as much as truck drivers like to complain about truckstops and never having anybody follow up. She was very true to her word, and I could not be happier. Thank you again for not just making a truck driver feel like you took our money and did not care. I can honestly say that Darcy took the time and followed up with me, could not be happier.

The Country Pride is still open! Come and support them or don't complain when all you have is fast food. Caytlynn is very friendly and welcoming. I'm just stoked I found a Pride that's still open.

Totally endorse this travel center from the management to every employee amazing people 🙏 they made us feel welcome while our truck was being repaired the Kind Lady behind the counter Mrs. T was so amazing to my wife and I the manager on duty was very kind and inviting to us as well plan to stop here every time we are in Illinois !!

Excellent service great place to stop Miss T is amazing in the store and Rashawnna in the truck service area is awesome as well felt like we were visiting family AAAA + everyone was very friendly. Food and restaurant was great too

Lots of parking, nearby movie theater for your 34 or for fellow night drivers. Ladies room was clean and staff was polite.

This is a nice TA. Lots of parking and you can almost always find a spot even later in the night... Even if you have to pay for it, it is great being able to park after a long hard day and you're in the need for sleep. The Country Pride does a good job. All few meals I had there were good. The showers are nice too. This is a 5 star truck stop for the cleanliness, the food, the parking, and the clean and hot showers. Good job TA! This is one of your best ones.

We had dinner there on our vacation. We had the best waitress & she was very friendly. She made the best sweet tea, which that's my thing, a good sweet tea. She was able to talk to use for awhile since it wasn't to busy. I wish there all waitresses were as sweet as her. We will be back again.

My husband and I took our reset here. We had our truck serviced, did laundry, showered, and had 3 meals in the restaurant. Everything was great, quick service, hot shower and clean facilities. The area is quiet and there is plenty of nice grassy areas for the doggies.

Always able to get in and out in a timely manner,,, except of course for those fellers who have never figured out what that 70' space is for in front of the fuel island, and the ones who take a shower, eat,and do a little shopping while parked on the fuel island, and probably didn't even buy fuel.. but, hey, they're everywhere nowadays !! Some people's kids.. hehe.
Back to the review.. staff are usually very friendly, helpful, and courteous!! Showers are always clean and quick !!

Very interesting truck stop. Has a small game room inside and must get permission to enter and it also has showers for truckers who have been on the road for long hours. I was very intrigued and wanted to see the showers but did not have time. Great customer service as well.

Best TA shop I've been to in some time. Kyle and Seth were great. Seth did an awesome job with the service on my truck. Very professional, more than competent, polite and respectful. Shop was clean and tidy.

We love stopping here on a regular basis. Our very favorite waitress Diana takes mighty good care of us. We've had tires replaced in the shop here and all the help are friendly. Also we've had pizza delivered from Monical's in Normal.

One of fee truck stops that offer nice place for walking or running, a litlte change from concrete to greenery. I wish every truck stop would have something like this.

We picked our son up from a training at great lakes naval base near Chicago and planned on a 25 hour drive to meet family. Little did we know, the training was intense up to the last day and our son didn't get to take a shower prior to graduation.

Well, my father in law is a truck driver and has always told us that TA has super clean showers. We googled and found that the TA in Bloomington was right on our route. We called ahead, explained our situation, and asked about a shower. I know the showers are normally reserved for drivers, but they told us no problem and to stop in when we get there.

I could not believe the level of customer service. They took care of our son and we are so appreciative. It is obvious that TA cares deeply about our troops. And from the cleanliness of the showers, they obviously care about their drivers too. They were a life saver.

TA is Awesome. I've been a TA patron since I was very young. My Dad was a Truck driver for some years. Now I use TA when I Travel. They have a little bit of everything. Food,drink, Light Bulbs for your truck n RV,soveneirs clean restroom n showers, laundry machines game rooms n Lounge n much more. So when you want to Travel stop at a TA ( Travel America ). Great Place with friendly staff.

The ta as usual has ample truck parking. Plenty of room for maneuvering a tractor trailer into parking spaces. Staff is friendly and smile allot. Currently many things you could use in your big truck are on sale. Like the 19 inch tv/dvd combo for $139.
Has a country pride restaurant inside and as always with the country pride there prices are crazy high. But it beats fast food.
