Half Price Books

The prices are great here much better than the name brand book store. I was able to find Season 1 and Season 2 of Thundercats. Such a great find to add to the collection of cartoons from when I was a kid.

I love this location. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, especially David at the sell counter. They were able to review my books and offer to buy in less than 10 minutes on a weekend, which was awesome!

We always find magic experiences here, with a family reading area in the store our children are always asking to come see what they can find. We've also sold many of our previous reads and received a great buy back offers.

This location of Half price books is bigger and better than other locations. The store itself is neatly organized and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. Lot of good collections at a low cost. Definitely recommend for book lovers. Also did I say, they buy your books? Yes, they do!

I keep visiting every other week to check their deals. Getting back into reading again and building a home library of sorts. They have great deals on new and old books. Occasionally I find a cool funko pop. They have a good collection of graphic novels and comics as well but my wife doesn't let me buy them.

Every now and then I want an actual book, not an ebook. Half price always has a great selection.
The staff here was very helpful, went out of their way to find the books I was looking for. And the online ordering and pickup was super easy.

First time here, this place was great! Great selection, lot of employees working, great prices. The place was extremely cold however, lol. As in maybe they had an issue with the AC at the time. Will be back for sure.

Fantastic customer service!! I was a little needy today and asked for help several times. I came with a long list from a few people of many different genres and found a lot of what I was looking for. Great prices too. I purchased technically 7 books (one is a 2 in one) and only spent about $50. Not bad and I get to take them home today.

This location has a decent selection of art reference books which is what I am looking for this trip so thats a plus. The store is quite clean and organized, the staff was helpful and friendly and they all were wearing masks. Checkout was easy they allow cash or credit and there are barriers between staff and customers. The prices are always reasonable and I enjoy getting to look through a book a bit before buying unlike online shopping. 🙃

My family all love this place! There's almost always something for each of us. We all have different tastes, but the selection is usually great. We go for the vinyl albums, CDs, collectibles of all variety, the list goes on.

The best way to get your kids excited about reading is to give them access to a variety of books. It's clean, quiet and has all the variety a family of readers needs.

Smaller than other book stores but staff is very attentive and polite.

The people that work here are so informative and helpful. Whether you know what you’re looking for and just can’t seem to find it, or if you’re looking to try something new. They are happy to fill your hearts desires with tons of literature. And they always seem happy to be there. Every. Single. Person. That works here is happy and fun, if I was looking for a job, I’d want to work here.

I love this place. My daughter and I always bond over our visits here looking for a new book, and she's 16. I stop by after work downtown sometimes and I will call and they are always happy to pull the book I am looking for. I'm able to get in line to check out when I arrive.

Half Price Books is the best place to get new and used books in Austin. This location is very clean and well organized. They had a fantastic selection of new releases at discounted prices too.

Reasonably priced alternative to paying full retail. It was fairly simple to find what I was looking for. Just go to the service counter and ask them to look up the title you’re searching for, they should be able to tell you how many copies are on hand and which section it is located in. Staff at this location was friendly and helpful.
