I recently came to Boom Boom Games after signing up for a Mario Kart Live Circuit tournament that consisted of 8 players. I have to say, I haven’t had this much fun in a while. Zach was an absolute amazing host and the other players in the tournament were great to play with. A totally cool, welcoming atmosphere with so much space and activities to stay intrigued in the game while waiting for other players to take their turns. Although one person for the tournament didn’t show up, Zach- the host, had everything under control and things ran smoothly. They provided us with drinks and pizza on the house and were extremely transparent about rules and race expectations. I genuinely can’t wait for the next tournament because I know I’ll 100% want to be apart of it. Thank you Boom Boom games for the fun I had today, congrats to the first and second winner and to Zach- thank you for the hard work you put in for the tournament it was so much fun! After connecting over an ad I had posted in FB Marketplace nearly six years ago, Boom Boom Games has been my go-to place for buying and selling all things retro. The owner actually helped provide me with resources to research and evaluate my retro and vintage games, toys, and collectables so I could better understand their worth and market demand before attempting to sell. I understand the challenges small businesses face in just trying to keep their heads above water, never mind make a profit, and Boom Boom has always provided me with transparency and fairness, and I have never once felt taken advantage of. Great business, fair practices, and awesome environment to just be in to re-live the nostalgia of growing up in the 1970s through early 2000s. A+

Great place! The owner is very kind and passionate about the retro gaming industry, which shows in how much he puts in to the store. There’s always something new to look at, whether it be games, figures, consoles, cards, etc. There’s something for everyone. They even do trade ins which is really cool, since they’ll give you more than a penny and a single bit of string (like certain chain game stores) for that game you bought but didn’t end up liking. If you want a comfortable environment for some fun retro gaming shopping, go here. There really isn’t a place that’s better, in my opinion.

Great video game and hobby shop in Billerica, in Browns Corner. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful, and the store's fun to browse around. Store itself is on the small side, but it's easy to get around, and it has a lot of charm due to being full of cool stuff.

Lots of retro game consoles, as well as more modern ones - I saw Switch, Wii/Wii U, Gamecube, N64, SNES, NES, PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, PS5, X-Box, X-Box 360, X-Box One, Dreamcast, Sega Genesis, Master System, GBA, Game Boy, GBC, DS, 3DS, VR stuff, and others. Some cool collectable stuff as well, like a Valkyria Chronicles 4 box set, for example.

Lots of unique peripherals and cables. I was able to find a pretty obscure GC-to-GBA connector cable by just asking the guy at the counter.

There's video game-themed toys, snacks, drinks, and candy, as well as a section for wrestling hobby items and toys. There's some funko pops too, if you're into that kind of thing. Beyond that, I saw shirts, clothing, plushies, hot wheels, Pokemon cards, ninja turtles/jurassic part toys, posters, things like that. There was a cool rack of various Nintendo Power issues in the corner.

I also saw some signs talking about a game space / arcade area, that might be coming in the future.

Great shop, definitely plan to be back.

We’ve been to A LOT of video game stores and this one was by far our favorite! Great selection of used games, retro games, and collectibles. My son was excited to find a huge variety of games as well as toys and figures. Super friendly staff as well. We live out of state but my kids are already begging to come back!

Wow, small store with HUGE selection! A little bit of everything! I love it! I picked up a nice selection of games, prices were on point, and everything was neat and organized. I highly recommend checking them out.

Amazing group of fellow collectors. Answered all questions and even spotted a fake pokemon card I brought in from a lot I had purchased elsewhere. Extremely experienced and would recommend 10/10.

Probably one of the best video game stores I’ve been two in a decade of more. As someone in their mid 20s I missed browsing a game shop as a kid. Good quality stuff as well.

These guys are great! I love coming to this place because it just takes me back in time. I've bought more than a few systems and games, and It's always been a pleasant experience. I continue to come here because of the customer satisfaction. Would recommend 100%

I had the pleasure of working with Ben today. I had a bunch of toys to sell from the 70s and 80s. Ben came by my home and spent a good amount of time looking through the toys. We spent a chunk of time talking about and reminiscing the toys I had laid out. Ben gave me a great offer and we agreed on letting him buy the collection. The process was smooth and their was no pressure at all. If you have a good collection of old toys, I would recommend working with Ben. He is a local owner and is super easy to work with. His store is also stocked with a solid collection of toys from your past. Definitely go by and check them out!!

Went into the store, associates were very knowledgeable about trading cards, pokemon in particular! Loved the help they gave me in pricing out my cards, and they made a fantastic offer that I couldnt refuse, used that to buy some awesome retro games from them while I was there. 10/10 would recommend!!

Amazing store, wide selection of games. Bought a refurbished og Xbox, opened it, and it was really well refurbished. Nice to see that good game stores do exist out there. 6/5 stars would recommend.

Nostalgia at its best. I first went to their store over a year ago and was not disappointed. All their staff are courtesy, create a great atmosphere to browse and chat with them, and are quite knowledgeable about all the items they have for sale. Whether it be purchasing from their eBay site or visiting the store, they have always gone the extra step for me. Their selection of retro games are amazing and highly recommend them.

This is my favorite retro game store of all time. I mean, they also have way more than just video games. Really cool limited edition consoles and controllers, toys, stuffies, figures, and collectibles. The guys that work there are so nice and cool they make you feel like you’ve been friends with them forever. I’ve gotten so much from that store they have way too much good stuff and their inventory is always growing. Highly recommend 10/10

I hit a jackpot! This store has very good collection of classic video games! they have unopened games and accessories. the quality of products are solid. they has a quality assurance card in N64 cartridge.

A great store. The owner and employees were extremely friendly and helpful. During my first visit (from out of state) I was treated to a tour of the store and a complimentary bottle of water just for hanging out. Lots of choices from video games to Pokémon to plushies. Anything you want, they’ll likely have! 10/10 would visit again!

Stopped by today after hearing the commercial on the radio, what a nice store this is! Friendly knowledgeable staff and reasonable prices. They have the coolest hard to find items, A collectors dream store. Had to wait a little bit to check out as there was a line (which I suppose is a good thing). Will be back again, highly recommend.
