Love this place! All the produce is so fresh and delicious. The floral department hands down has the prettiest flowers for any occasion. The coffee Isle is amazing always clean and fully stocked as well as the salad bar. I definitely recommend going here to shop.

Wow! What a neat grocery store! So clean...I would use the word impeccably clean! Everything neat and orderly. Items geared towards a more healthy lifestyle, which is nice honestly! Workers friendly and asked if I needed any help when they saw me just standing around. Loved some of the seasonal displays. All kinds of things available!! Who would have thought it would be a pleasure to just go into a grocery store and look around? A new favorite store!!

Great set up for fresh food and bevs. Incredible seafood selection. Love the cheese section too! Too many coffee's to choose from! Had the $5 shrimp cocktail that came with 10 shrimp...1/2 pound!

I've never been to a grocery store that didn't sell poptarts and pepperoni rolls. I mean, like. Whaaaaaaaat. This place is nice, clean, and has a good variety of stuff that isn't poptarts, not that I wanted them. Their meat selection was super nice, their bakery? No words, get the chocolate covered strawberries, they're amazing. Wish we had something like this at home.

If you want an amazing shopping experience this is the place! Absolutely gorgeous located on historic St. Charles Ave. Free parking or take the street car bus stop is right outside the front door This store literally has something for everyone. Beautifully decorated with New Orleans themes throughout the entire place. From grinding your own coffee beans to fresh seafood. The fresh fruits and veggies are so fresh. Need something organic they've got it. Need a big ribeye or speciality cut meat to throw on the grill stop and see the butcher. If desserts are your thing they have unique and down right beautiful tasty treats. Spices from around world. Stop in for lunch or grab dinner in the way home The Fresh Market has an Antipasta and Olive Bar and a Fresh Sushi Bar or choose from the amazing dishes cooked daily hot and ready. Fresh breads and pastries to Delhi sliced meats and cheeses. Need flowers or a spacial gift for that special person The Fresh Market can help put something together. Candles to Green bean chips to New York steaks Super clean and the employees are too notch. The offer curbside pickup party platters and even boost a second floor area to eatlunch or make a reservation to be seated outside on the beautiful wrap around porch there is always a security guard on duty I can't say enough about the many unique items sold take a walk down the candy isle oh my it's insane. Stop in and look for Miya she's just one of many great happy people you will meet that work here. Say hi to the Manager Ed he's always walking around helping customers. This store is one of a kind that I totally recommend

Fresh market has all the best brands. No room on thier shelves for inferior products.
The butcher shop is "over the top" when it comes to quality and service. The staff takes great pride in providing the ultimate cuts of meat, and seafood products. It is evident by the way they display them, and thier eagerness to give you the best experience, from your shopping visit, to your home fine dining experience. The store is well laid out and feels cozy and comforting.
No searching for ingredients among 40 aisles of clutter. This place is succinct!

Thankfully this store was in walking distance to our Airbnb. This is a great place to stock up on snacks, bakery items and ready to eat foods. I think we stopped here for something every day! Head upstairs for a great wine/beer/seltzer selection. Excellent produce as well.

I've spent a few hours here today it is so pleasant; you can tell the employees love working here, which bodes well... muy tall Ashley(?) in chefs coat working the in-house wall o' food was particularly intuitive/adept. some things are more expensive here, lots more comparably priced, better than you'd expect for an advantageously placed gourmet grocer. plenty of great and creative prepared foods including this fancy deal photo'd, and lots of lovely samples (including coffee! I counted at least four carafe stations throughout the store). outlets inside and out for your charging needs plus a microwave/toaster/dining area/wine bar/mix and match beer 6pack upstairs and clean restrooms, big umbrella'd patio if you feel like commiserating with the rain/sun, etc. no toiletries for sale (yet?). seems like they have security well sorted also (police at least, possibly guards), and a nice medium-size parking lot. today there was a man smoking chilies on the patio which is hot <3 their drinking fountains are moldy and need some scrubbing buttt based on their competent responses to other reviews here I'd say that won't be a problem for long: five stars

Such a cute market store! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The guy at the meat counter was really nice as well as our cashier. We also talked to a sheriffs deputy who was delightful to have conversation with. We loved talking to some locals! I got the kale chickpea salad and it was awesome!

My Fresh Market is clean and spotless , the staff is fantastic and the food is delicious and diverse. I wish they carried cheese croissants.

Omg I absolutely love this place. We found this down the road from our hotel. So glad we ran into it. Reminds me of a local mom and pop Publix. Fresh foods and love the set up.

This was previously the House of Bultman funeral home 1883-2005 which was started by my great great grandfather Anthony Bultman. Whenever we visit new Orleans we stop by what is now Fresh Market. The building was gutted but they kept the outside as it was [except made it off white]. The plantation house behind on Louisiana Avenue is still owned by Bultman family.
This store offers a good variety of items from bakery to fresh produce to floral. More upscale pricing with items I may see in Gerbes, Kroger, Roushes and items that are more unique/local. Top floor has bathrooms plus wine/alcohol. Not a bad place to stop by and visit while on St. Charles Avenue/Garden District.

If you're looking for better quality food, this is the store to go to. As a chocolate lover they had a great selection of fine chocolate. Food from the deli was also good.

Stuff is fresh. Easy to get around the store. Prepared food like sandwiches is good. Their whole cooked chicken is not as big as Costco's, though. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Nothing like birra shopping in the former New Orlean's mortuary. Harkens back to my pre-med days as an undergraduate at The University of Chicago in 1983-84 when I worked in the morgue at the U. of Chicago Hospitals as an autopsy tech. Larry Cameron was the Director there. Doppleganger for Sammy Davis Junior. Lovely man. AllWays smiling and jovial. One day I asked him: "How can you be so Happy all the time Larry? You're surrounded by dead bodies." He answered with a smile: "I AM Alive!".

I love Fresh Market. They have such a great variety of things, their deli dishes are delish and bakery treats are super yummy. Plus the staff is super nice!
