Crescent City Comics

After years and years away from collecting, I got back into comics in a big way in 2023. There's a catch, though: I only collect horror titles, which means that even some of the best comic shops I've come across in my travels haven't had a lot for me to choose from. So imagine my shock when I stepped foot into Crescent City Comics and found one of the largest collections of horror trade paperbacks I've ever seen -- and extremely well-organized to boot. What an amazing store.

This little comic shop was so cool! It had a lot of great new comics that other shops were already sold out of.

They didn't have a ton of back issues out in the open, but what they did have was well priced.

Definitely suggest adding this to your list of shops to visit.

A great little hole in the wall of a Comic Book Store. Vast number of Comic Books, Graphic Novels & Movie Adaptations. Small gifts and posters. Have a bite to eat across the street at Frostop!

Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Found books we'd been looking for over a year. Great selection of classic and contemporary comics. Kid friendly, but also rewarding for seasoned collectors.

This place was awesome! The informative staff made the experience even better! From the nostalgic comic book sets, graphic novels, omnibuses to their collectable funko pops, t-shirts, and stickers.. this place has it all! The new releases to last weeks releases made it even easier to find what ur looking for!

This shop is a comic book wonderland. Someone has spent time organizing this shop and making it very welcoming to everyone. It has everything you are looking for.

Loved the comics they had available. Not a lot of Funko pops but it was still a nice visit

An incredible comic shop! It is so very clean and organized. Filled to the brim with comics and a rather good selection of manga. as well as board games, cards, dice, and other wonderful miscellaneous items that are sure to peak fancy. Can't wait to cme back.

Just about anything you could want in a comic book store. Great selection, comfortable atmosphere, etc.

Well stocked& friendly staff. Stopped in with my 3 yr old to look for board games for the family game night but ended up buying kids books instead.

I like this comic store the best in the NOLA/Metairie area. They are well stocked, organized, and have a lot of different products to offer. To me, the worst thing a comic book store could do is not have much stock of new issues and be so disorganized where it's hard to find series. I have encountered that elsewhere, and had planned to spend a good bit of money which those stores lost due to not having stock and me being frustrated by having to look hard for anything. This store did NOT have that issue. Staff also spoke to me and offered help a few times which I appreciate.

Got the chance to stop in recently. Really enjoyed the shop. It's one of those last shops that hasn't turned in to a table top gaming spot (yes youcan buy games though) . This is a real comic shop. Friendly and knowledgeable folks, massive collection of trades, games, figures, and more. I asked a few questions about some of the more rare books and they actually taught me some stuff. I'll definitely be back in the near future.

Came for one thing, they didn't have it, walked out with so much better. Large selection, great atmosphere. Would rush visit over a lunch break again.

Wow! I’m so glad I caught a glimpse of this pristine thoroughly stocked local business. I didn’t know places like this still existed. I do not know enough to critique the inventory but I have a hard time believing they didn’t have everything. Massive selection of graphic novels, comics, a kids section as well as games.
Well light, organized, super clean and comfortable. Will be back asap.

I loved this place! I went there for some dice and I was not disappointed. Park right front and enjoy this great store.

Can't say how many times I've driven past not realizing this comic book store was here. Stopped in today so my kiddo can get Manga to add to her collection, and ended up walking out with an old Uncanny X-Men that I used to read as kid and couldn't find anywhere else. This store is definitely a gem. The employees are very nice and friendly. We will be back, for sure.
