CVS

This is a wonderful store. Friendly warm people. I was having card issues today but they took a very long time to figure it out with me. A lovely man named Paul was able to make sure their machine took my card, he really saved me. I appreciate this store, I owe them a good review!!!! ❤

This a complete CVS, complete with the bottles to make your favorite cocktails. New York CVS's don't serve liquor, I'm jealous. The shelves are stocked, they carry full line of makeup they have cold beer and of pharmacy, I think they're open 24 hours.

Keep more generic/cvs brand cold medicine in stock, especially when on sale. Otherwise, EXCELLENT, friendly service! Update: they have gotten much better with it.

Even though we live in a all digital world today - you should have some type of 1-hour photo (gift souvenir) counter always staffed with a friendly knowledgeable (enough) clerk-cashier. Even though most everyone uses iPhones smartphones and digital cameras it would be nice to have someone you could ask basic questions to. And re film I know one hour isn't going to happen but maybe have mail off envelopes for people who do need developed film? And behind that counter you could keep digital accessories gifts and souvenirs to sell. It's just an idea. And also I want to give two thumbs up to Jaclene! She's a CVS employee who definitely went above and beyond helping this customer buy the product looking for plus save money and be happy. Thx! 😊👍

This CVS has the best pharmacist of all the millions of CVS stores that I have been in across this odd country. And for Trolley riders, this store is very convenient. It's right there at the 5th Avenue Trolley Station. The store is large with all sorts of stuff oddly on sale, trying no doubt to out do OXXO, with its daily different price policy that makes something cost different on Monday than on Wednesday, etc. This CVS has three self-checkout machines with the voice and attitude of a very annoyed and possibly angry woman. The pharmacist will vaccinate you with any vaccine you need, so if you need the coronavirus vaccine, fly on in. There was no line when I was there on a weekday morning.

The CVS at the corner of 5th and C street, is an excellent store to shop at ; I've never never had to wait for more than a couple of minutes to get served.The associates there are wonderful people who are all willing to go out of their way to serve their customers, such as myself. They always have a manager on their floor-and their managers are really nice hardworking gentlemen, who are often on the floor working with their store's associates. I've met several a few times and they are always very concerned, in regards to the wellness of their store associates, as well as their customers too!
They have the necessary security guards, as do most all inner city department stores. Their store security guards are also their to help you, so stop by and say, "Hi" to them. At times their job is quite difficult, due to the high influx of transients-a few of these individuals are looking for "a five finger discount," so if you see something, say something! In the long run, it helps to keep store prices lower.
This store is always very clean and all items - especially weekly sale specials - are always in stock. They also have a large selection of "health foods" that have no preservatives and are gluten free ; they carry vegan juices and other drinks and foods too. They have many sales on different items that are often sold at lower prices than in other competitive stores throughout this sector of town. They also ring out plenty of 30% to 40% single item coupons, especially when you use you CVS red card.
You can find just about any household necessities that you might need in this store, as well as most anything else that you need. There is also a nice pharmacy that is open during regular business hours ( If you live in this area and want 24 hr. pharmaceutical service, the closest store is at 313 Washington St.in Hillcrest ).
Their pharmacy is generally open from 9am to 7pm however, on several days, their hours vary a little. They usually carry most all medicines that you might need but, if a medicine isn't in stock, it generally takes a day or sometimes less to get it for you.
If you have an unrefillable "classified state or federally regulated prescription," it sometimes helps to call your doctor and leave them a message ahead of time however, once they have your name in their computer system, it makes everything a lot easier for you
Oh! Oh! It's time to go. I often write my reviews while I'm watching the SY-FY Channel. It's 12:30am and it's time for "Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome" on COX Cable. They are always asking me "if I'm still watching...?
Heck! I'm just about always bloody watching...something?
"Well? I'm just a raggedy man. I don't have any money. Eventhough I don't run this town, maybe they'll cut me a deal and give me "On Demand" for free, or at least let me watch the free "On Demand" movies for free? Did I get that one right?
This team of pharmacists is one of CVS's best : Their customer service is utterly outstanding and they honestly care about you. It's a guarantee that you can take from me and I've dealt with and written about customer service issues for decades.
They are conveniently located at the corner of Fifth Ave. and C Streets, where both the Blue and Orange Trolley Lines stop, as well as where the #3 and #120 MTS lines connect.
Just think? Next time you're there, we might meet eachother?

On two different instances, I have received incredible customer service and kindness from, of all places, a CVS in the heart of downtown San Diego.

Sonny, the pharmacist, was of great help, and possibly assisted in saving my life when I was stung by a bee on the trolley. I am anaphylactic and didn’t have my Epinephrine pen with me. He gave me a dose of Benadryl that slowed my reaction and sent me on my way to the hospital, for free. His kindness and assistance likely saved me from going into full anaphylactic shock before reaching the medical attention I so desperately needed.

I can only imagine what the staff here deals with, but they are consistently kind, helpful and caring. I’m blessed to have encountered multiple employees at this CVS who were willing to help me in times of serious need.

I am forever grateful to the employees who, in my opinion, are the best representation of a massive drug store and pharmacy chain.

Came through in the clutch, staying at the hotel down the street and I wanted something to snack on as well as hydration, the lady at the front in the purple cardigan sweater had it lit and she hit the whoa. Thanks for the assist CVS.

The Staff are Absolutely Awesome and very helpful to me, every time I shop in the store.

Just stop by for printing some photos, the machine is really friendly and the personnel always was watching in case I need some help.
