A & L Wine Castle

First time in, never seen bottles to the ceiling or in such quantity. Cashier was helpful and engaging. We got canned smithwicks and Paulner grapefruit radler. It was smooth and not tart like you would think. If your girl doesn't care for beer, she may like this one!

The staff at Wine Castle have always provided great recommendations for liquor. Super knowledgeable. A really good selection of local Michigan spirits as well.

I’d been searching all over A2 for a specific item, but no one carried it. I decided to try A&L after hearing they have a great and unique selection. Unfortunately, they didn’t carry the item, but I spoke with Jorgo and he was so nice! He took the time to check with his vendor to see if they had the item. Turns out they carry all four flavors! Jorgo placed a special order for me and it took less than a week to arrive. When I picked up the order, I tried to leave a tip, but it was refused even after my order was carried out to my car. Such great and friendly service. I’ll definitely reorder when I run low. Highly recommended business!

Great selection, knowledgeable staff. Great spot to stock up and all your alcohol needs. Not a giant beer center but great selection of variety with what they have.

This place is a little high in price, but the guys are helpful and will get you literally ANYTHING. When family comes from out of town they always want visit A&L

Awesome store with lots of selections! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Found some great bourbons that I’ve been looking for the about 8 months for great prices. Worth a visit!

Great selection of scotch and bourbons and the staff were very knowledgeable. Worth the drive if you want liquor beyond the basics of most stores.

Went Christmas Eve, they we're jammin. Very friendly staff and "dad" knows all the prices like the back of his hand. Everyone was moving fast, talking fast and hustling to take care of every customer. I was duly impressed while I waited my turn in line. Let me mention they have EVERYTHING, an Ann Arbor gem for sure.

The selection at A&L is fantastic. These guys are also top notch. Need help finding something, they'll help. Looking for something special, they'll help. Don't know what you're looking for, but can give them at least a couple descriptive words, they'll help. I've never been let down by the guys in A&L.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Looks small on the outside but amazing selection of spirits once inside. I was able to find some Croatian and Greek stuff I had searched many other shops for but always came back empty-handed. Not only that but staff were very knowledgeable and willing to help, answering my many questions and offering suggestions.Also the facade really looks like a castle. Very cute little store!

Staggering selection of wine and liquor, a little hard to navigate the store because everything is stacked on shelves from the floor to the ceiling which is at least 10 feet high, but the attendants were helpful and it was overall a good experience.

Great place for wine, it seems they are pretty knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the craft.

This is not the place for beer, but they don't claim to be. The best place I found for huge beer selection/build your own is Wine Barrel Plus in Livonia, my first visit here I was hoping to find something similar closer to home, but Wine Castle is a smaller store with a focus on wine and liquor.
