Bell's Diner

First time here for a late brunch/lunch and we enjoyed the food we got. It is a conveniently located diner with a small town family feel. I think it’s unique they serve Korean food along with the standar American diner food you would expect. We didn’t order any Korean dishes, but will have to be back again to try those. My husband enjoyed the homemade biscuits and gravy. I loved my tuna melt, which was grilled to perfection with the best crispy crunch on the bread. The tuna salad was delicious and tasted homemade. Generous portions and attentive service!

Ordered the beef bulgogi bento box and spicy chicken today with brown rice! Sharing a few more pics! Love the food and great service. Friendly staff and busy on a Sunday for lunch!

Excellent food! All around good selection of items for breakfast, lunch and dinner. However, it's really a local hidden gem for their yummy limited Korean dishes on the menu, especially the bibimbap, spicy chicken and beef bulgogi! 😋

Pretty cozy place. The service was fine. The American menu was simple and very americany. I didn't try Korean food.

This place is a cute little American/Korean diner. It has traditional American diner foods like burgers, grilled sandwiches, and breakfast. They also have a few Korean dishes, including ramen. I ordered the bulgogi hoagie. They give you 2 sandwiches with chips, pickle, and coleslaw for an amazing 12.99. Most of the menu items are similar or cheaper. Great food, great price, friendly service.

My adult kids and I have eaten here twice. Both times were delicious! It's a small space, so there is awkward low talking among the diners, but the kitchen and single wait staff are moving fast and our food was served within a few minutes. They have a lot of takeout being picked up. I have to assume people who gave low reviews due to rude service didn't understand that they are hopping. Friendly, but busy. No chitchat but whatever. We'll be back.

Their spicy pork & chicken are really delicious. It's a great amount of heat and it's a huge quantity of food. Their house made hot sauce is quite sweet and mildly hot, I love the flavor. I've mainly stuck with the Korean dishes at the restaurant and they have always been delightful.

What a gem! First time here and was pleasantly surprised to find that this is an American Korean fusion diner! All the food was delicious and the even serve classic Korean dishes. Would recommend the dumplings!! I lived in AA for many years and had no idea about this place. Would definitely come back! Staff was very friendly and service was quick.

Tuna was excellent. While I was there, three (3) other people ordered it. The chicken soup was outstanding. My wife had the corned beef. It's just fantastic. It's just a little pricey for a diner. Furthermore, our waitresses JONNA was outstanding and the best server of the year.

An Ann Arbor classic. Homey little diner with the usual breakfasts and burgers... plus some of the best Korean food in town. Delicious and speedy, great lunch spot.

What a fantastic mom and pop type of hole in the wall restaurant. Skip the chain places and go to Bell's Diner.

The place is small, unassuming, and absolutely simple. No vibe, no frills, just some of the best Korean food I've had in ages.

Full disclosure: It's been over a year sinceI have had Korean food because there are no Korean restaurants near me or my recent travels.

That said, this is a gem. Incredibly fast service, and amazing food.

Try the cucumber kimchee. It's not really spicy, more of a flavorful treat.

The bulgogi was outstanding. Tender, bursting with flavor. The bi bim bop looked very good.

All in all, I'm so glad I found this wonderful gem instead of going to a chain restaurant.

Went for a trip to Michigan and stopped by Bell’s Diner! Was initially kinda bummed cause I thought we had missed breakfast but thankfully they serve it all day! I loved the idea of a Korean-run diner that catered to multiple groups, serving both Korean dishes as well as some Americanized meals! The hostess/waitress was very pleasant, the food came out quick, serving sizes were large. Overall made the trip that much better, if you go please tip them. It feels like there is probably only 3-4 workers in the whole place and they definitely deserve it!

Wow. Such delicious food! We got the Bul-Go-Gi and split it and it was a great portion. The food was ready so quickly and everyone was so kind. The flavors were wonderful and we definitely look forward to going back! They have breakfast, classic diner food, and Korean cuisines. This is an Ann Arbor gem.

Very family friendly! Wonderful staff, delish food. I ordered pancakes and spicy tofu. The pancakes were the best I’ve ever had. The spicy tofu was amazing as well. Their portions are huge too! I’m excited to go back :)

Amazing establishment with a wide variety of Korean food and classic American diner food. If you want to get bibimbap but also huge pancakes this is the place for you. I’ve been coming here for years and the lovely staff provide excellent and speedy service!

I’ve been enjoying breakfasts in Korean food at the diner for 30 years. It was my first introduction to Korean food actually. Bells got me addicted to bi bim bab, which is a rice bowl with chicken/beef/tofu and piles of vegetables and an egg on top. You mix it with a slightly spicy chili sauce. The owner Ben and his wife are just lovely, good people and I’m happy to support their restaurant!

Been coming here for years! Great friendly service, I usually get the bibimbop and hash browns. They also make great burgers!

This is a great little place to eat. The food and service was great. We counted 38 seats, so it doesn't cater to a lot of people at one time. Well worth going.

My favorite local diner for both American and Korean food. I always visit Bell’s on weekends before football games, at night for take out, or just to meet and chat with friends.

Run and owned by an incredibly sweet family that takes pride in their food, service, and has a strong loyal customer base.

Really come hear for the Bimbimbap - it is jump perfect.
The place is funny looking but the whole experience is great.
The spicy plate can be really spicy, be aware!

Update years later: price went up a notch still good quality food for cheap. Still an amazing place.
