Plato's Closet Ann Arbor

Could not recommend this place enough. Platos closet has such cute clothes for an amazing price! I love looking at all the creative clothing displays, the staff put together.I was surprised with how much men's wear they had and how friendly the staff was. Selling is also super easy and I always feel like I'm getting a fair price for my used clothes. Jenna helped me out today and they were super sweet and helpful. Definitely coming back! 😻😻😻😻😻😻

I have shopped here many times it is a good Plato's closet. I have definitely got some steals here that I would have otherwise paid a lot for online. The cashier's are nice, everything is good here. I would give it a 10 out of 10.

Great prices, great selection of clothes and shoes, and friendly employees. I have also sold items here and usually get a fair price. When they have sales it's very busy!

I absolutely LOVE Plato’s closet!!!! Every time I go I never leave empty handed and the people working there are truly so sweet and helpful! They always make me feel welcome and they always somehow find a way to compliment me! 10/10 customer service!! I am so impressed!
I turn sixteen in 3 months and when I do I’ll be sure to apply!
My only thing is that I feel like while it’s great to have certain things labeled as summer or Michigan (no complaints there!) I personally feel like (this might be too much work so no worries!) it would be even better if the clothes were separated by style and aesthetic!! I personally have more of a alt style and it’s a little hard to find my exact style. But that just means they have so many great things to offer!
Me and my friends ALWAYS find the things we need but It sometimes takes a minute.

I always spend a good chunk of money here but I walk away with a big bag of items and SO many great deals! it’s way cheaper than shopping at the mall and the staff is super friendly! I’m very excited for when their store will expand, glad they are staying in the same location but they are also going to take over the space next door. so there will be even more space to shop their great product !!! 10/10 recommend

Love getting all my Lulu clothes here for running and working out. Much cheaper than full price and if it gets snagged rowing on river I’m not worried. Store is relatively clean except the dusty floor (but that’s every thrift store). Come often as the college kids rotate through their wardrobes often and can snag good deals.

I absolutely LOVE this Plato’s Closet! They are a well maintained store with such a great ambiance! Staff are so nice and helpful! I ran into Sam and Claire today, and they were so welcoming and kind! For me shopping isn’t about brand it’s about the feel of the store, and they do a great job of making everyone feel welcome and comfortable. Definitely one of my regular spots!

Delaney slayed today! She was sooo helpful and observant when I came in to sell some of my clothing. I had a pair of shoes that was labeled “size 4” (which is the kids shoe size equivalent of a size 6) and Delaney caught the fact that the shoes were actually a size 6 on my way out the door! Extremely kind and sweet & clearly a super hard worker!

I just visited this location for the first time this week to get rid of a bunch of my old clothes and to get some new items for my fall wardrobe. It was a great experience all around! I ended up staying longer than I even expected because there were so many good items to browse through and the staff was very kind and friendly. Claire and Riley in particular made it a great experience for me at checkout! Looking forward to checking this store out again when I can!

Always selling my clothes here! Super quick and lovely experience. The clothing in stock are all great quality as well for an affordable price. I basically only thrift and this place is perfect for it!

I had a great experience w/ Platos! I sold here about two weeks ago and I was honestly pleasantly surprised. I got about $30 for my clothes, it was great!!

Came in recently to sell some clothes. The staff is super friendly and the racks are full of great finds and hidden gems. I highly recommend this location. They actually go through your items piece by piece and even tell you why they don’t x choose certain items. Great system

incredible!! it’s been a couple years since i came here to shop, but recently i came to sell some clothes i’ve bought and never wore. all i can say is WOW! they expanded the shop so it’s much bigger which they certainly needed!! and the girls working were AMAZING! i came on a saturday about early afternoon. i loved the girls vibes here! they were SOOOO friendly and informative. the last time i came here a few years ago, i remember all the girls attitudes were terrible and i didn’t have a good experience. whatever the owner is doing here these days, they’re doing it right because their employees are HAPPY! will be returning :)))

This place is such an amazing place to shop if your a teenager or an adult. They have used and new clothing for great prices. I found these amazing cute boots that great for outdoor but stylish.
And the employees are so nice there. Their was one cashier so was so sweet and made conversation sadly I didn’t catch her name but she was amazing and I felt so welcomed as a costumer there being years of being there.

this was my first time here and i had a great time :) all of the employees were very friendly, especially ella at the register. i got a really cool shirt and a dinosaur bath bomb - they had a lot more stuff than i expected

I've only ever had positive experiences at Plato's Closet. It's the first place I go to if I ever need to go shopping because the clothes are cute, unique, and affordable. And all the sales associates are so helpful and kind!

I’ve been here a few times before and I keep coming back because of the friendly staff and I always find at least one item that I love! I highly recommend this place and suggest everyone to stop by at least once. Lauren helped me find a few dresses to wear and overall was just very friendly.
