Knight's Market

This place is the bomb! Perhaps Ann Arbor's best kept secret. It is a small, authentic market. Food is high quality and prices are very reasonable, especially when compared to a Whole Food's or Plumb Market. Their prepared foods are delicious, really delicious, and come in handy for mid-week meals. Shopping here is a treat. It is my new go-to place.

Cannot believe this place has only 47 reviews. It’s an absolute hidden gem for those who don’t know! I just got a T-bone steak as today was my boyfriend’s birthday. The cut was very reasonably priced for butcher quality (16.99/lb). And wow we finished in 10 mins it was that good (and I miraculously managed to cook perfectly, too lol) I will definitely return when I want steaks or any beef for special occasions.

Any meat I've purchased from here has been very fresh and great. Some of the best pork sausage I've ever had. Definitely recommend stopping in and checking out some of the meat options. Also nice they have a small grocery selection so if you need a pairing with an entree it's there in addition to beer.

.I have been going to Knights market since 1978.. Some food options have changed but it is still the best neighborhood store a person can have. Constantly thriving, so much so that there isn't even a sign for the market. Part of that is because it started as a butcher shop and still has the best meat in town, which draws people from all over Ann Arbor. The staff is always friendly and helpful: it's mostly family run. New additions are their own bake goods and wild caught fish.

If you are going to grill your own burgers, this is the place to get them. Fresh buns, cheese, tomatoes, or whatever you like to put on them, it is fresh and reasonably priced. A+

Absolutely the best meat in town. Service is great, it's a family-owned and operated business, and I'm so glad I have them in my neighborhood. Couldn't do without them!

They also have interesting offerings by local businesses, such as wonderful pasta sauce. The baked goods are also terrific.

The butcher is the store's focus, and their beef is second to none. It's a great neighborhood grocery. It's small, but has the essentials, and more. The homemade rolls are just like the ones served at their restaurants.

I'm 76 and that's the best burger 🍔 I've ever tasted.

You guys, the Thanksgiving Feast was absolute perfection. Delicious, hearty, so many leftovers. The best store bought holiday meal I’ve ever had Thank you so much for all your hard work!

The people here are nice and respectful, and while they might not have as much stuff as you'd expect from a large chain, their selection is pretty nice.

Love this place. It's always sparkling clean, everybody who works there is friendly and always willing to go the extra mile, and you can get everything you need for a great meal. Can't recommend Knight's Market highly enough.

We lived nearby from 1971-1974 and it was famous for aged prime beef then. Wonderful to read it's still unrivaled.

BEST meats around. Have used their meats for 30+ years. Have never gotton bad service or meat. You want good meat every time, go here.

Nice meat market the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Plus they are willing to do special orders.

This place looks like a meat locker from the outside I think that's what it is all the beef looks great and it looks authentic this is one of one
