ABC Store Onslow Co Workshop Ln

My local, closest available (state-owned) liquor & spirits store. At this point, I know & am recognized by every single one of the staff members who works here, even the (non-regular) swing/float employees who work at multiple locations. They're always friendly, helpful & efficient. On a side note: (even with me being a well-known regular, I still bring mine, but) make sure you ALWAYS bring your ID card with you, especially if you're under 45, but most of all, ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE NOT already LOCAL/NC DMV ID-issued (for any/all of y'all Marines, Sailors and/or a dependant thereof), just so you guys are aware ahead of time, they technically aren't even supposed to accept ANY OUT-OF-STATE ID CARDS, they MAY OR MAY NOT HONOR YOUR FEDERAL/DoD/CAC [ID] CARDS. The one non-NC ID that might be the exception, is if you at least have a passport (not sure about any other (non-NC DMV-issued) states' form(s) of REAL ID. Just tryin to save y'all any wasted time or effort, hope this helps

Friendly service, the alcohol I want is always in stock and they don’t rush or bother you, they actually help you find what your looking for and makes pretty good drink selections.

Didnt want 2 spend a lot considering i never drink so my husband found this sweet reasonable bottle of whisky R&R

This was my first visit to the ABC Store in Onslow County, and I found the Staff person to be considerably cordial and engaging! This store was adequately stocked with the beverage of my specific taste, and that was the making of a very pleasant visit! Whenever I return again, it will be on my list of places to return! 😊😎💖

ABC is the only store in town that sells liquor unless you can get to the MCX. And they're not open on weekends, when everyone is off work.

I preferred this location for its cleanliness and very helpful staff.
I always asked for advice and they gave great advice.
Hours are convenient. It's always super busy right before they close on Friday and Saturday nights. Holidays right before closing, be prepared to stand in a long line.
Make sure you have proper State ID'S as you may not get what you came for, never had a problem myself however I had witnessed others walking out a bit irate, state laws!
Wide variety of liquors!

The best place to get Proper 12, that Conor McGregor Irish Whiskey. The store was clean, the employees were extremely helpful. Instead of telling you where some thing was, they walk you to it. Have been here at least 5 times, I would rather go here than any other place.

Great selection. Staff extremely friendly. Enjoyed visiting the store to browse things that are not carried in Virginia stores.

Lots of selection here. Nice setup. Very nice and helpful employees. Easy to see from the road and easy to get to. One of the only ABC stores around this area. Lots of parking, including handicap parking.

Very nicely done abc store. Easy access, good parking, clean, bright, well stocked store. Had 3 registers open with 3 helpful, efficient cashiers. Checked ID with a credit card, which was impressive.

This is a lovely location. I think the glass blocks are so pretty. The selection is great, and the associates are helpful and friendly. The parking lot could be better.
