Mrs. Brake's Spices

I did a cooking class as part of my bachelorette weekend and had such a great experience!!! We had 8 girls altogether and we all had so much fun. The food was also fantastic and we went home with great recipes! We made homemade pasta with vodka sauce and apple pie paninis. I highly recommend!!

I love this shop. There are a lot of products in the shop and at great prices. The blends Karen makes are out of this world. And when you want something special Karen gladly makes it up for you. I always recommend her store to anyone who listens!

This place is great! The ladies are great, it is exactly what local shopping should be. They are always helpful and the prices are amazing! I can't say enough good things about this place. If your baking or cooking this is the place to get anything you need!

These ladies have a wide range of things in the store. They not only have special blends but have great suggestions on how to use these blends! Everything is fresh and way cheaper than anything you can find in local grocery stores.

I am making homemade pickles and the recipe was my great grandmother's. It calls for alum in it but I have learned this past weekend that you shouldn't use alum. Now websites say use Pickle Crisp. I bought it but still unsure of using it I called Karen and told her my delimba. She is looking into it and I will find out after work how to use it. I buy my spices there also because they are so accommodating and inexpensive. Thank you Karen and Linda for being there.

The best place for fresh spices and THE NICEST ladies. They make great blends for just about anything.and prices can’t be beat. And if you have a blend you want them to make up for you they will!

I love this store and the variety of the products they have here. I am an out of town shopper and my items always arrive as promised and often ahead of schedule. When I am able to be in town and browse the store, I'm amazed at all of the options I have. Highly recommend.

One of the owners was extremely rude after I had just walked into the store. I was browsing the bulk tea section when she asked if she could help. After I informed her I was just looking at the bulk tea that I was planning to purchase, she made an extremely rude comment insinuating I was not a paying customer. After that I left and will not be returning. If you want “loyal customers”, start by treating your customers with respect.
