Route 96 BBQ

Just tried out this small restaurant after hearing about how good their smoked BBQ is. This is the real deal! They mainly serve just smoked BBQ brisket, pork, chicken, salmon with delicious sides. Their house barbecue sauce is not too sweet and full of flavor. Their honey mustard sauce is sweeter, but not overly so. Both sauces will taste great on whatever you get. If you're looking for a real barbecue place to satisfy your craving, I'd give this place a try.

I went here and got the 3x3 Platter consisting of Pork ribs, pulled pork, brisket, potato salad, collard greens, and fries. The platters come with cornbread, pickles, and pork rinds. I also got an order of fried pickles as an appetizer.

The fried pickles were amazing. Sour and tangy while still be warm throughout. They don’t pull all the breading off when you take a bite and that sauce is fantastic.

The pork ribs were divine. They are seasoned to perfection and don’t even need sauce on them. The vinegar cuts right through and enhances the flavor of the meat. The pulled pork was delicious, the bark was good and the meat itself was moist. The brisket had phenomenal flavor and was a good mix of fatty and lean meat.

The potato salad was good. Creamy and flavorful with a hint of mustard. The fries crispy and hot, seasoned and a good accompaniment to the meat. The collards were juicy but lacked salt and seasoning.

I really enjoyed my meal and experience here. Thank you so much for serving up some delicious barbecue!

Went here last night. I may be partial being from Farmington myself. But the food was great for the small place that it is! Ribs were made to perfection and the brisket was tasty. My only gripe with the place is the bottles they put their barbecue sauce in. Other than that. Great place!

You can't go wrong here. I've been working my way down the menu. Everything is delicious.

Catered for a big function. Lots of good quality food. Macaroni and Cheese was basic. Sauce was really good. Meats were tender. They were a little disorganized but covered well and made up for the disorganization and did what needed to be done. Looks like a nice atmosphere to dine in even though it’s in a strip mall.

Wow came across this place on our way through in an RV. Everything was delicious from the meat, sides, and corn bread. Highly recommend this place. Don’t forget the peach cobbler.

Instant favorite! We budget one take out meal per week and we keep choosing this! BBQ sauce is divine, all meat is seasoned and cooked to perfection.

Full 5 stars because expectations were exceeded. Stopped here on a whim. Bbq chikn excellent. Ribs very good almost excellent. Bbq turkey excellent. Menu says meats are always slow smoked and never reheated and seems accurate. Sides very good to excellent; collard greens, baked beans (a little spicey just right), mac & cheese. Looks like a new business in a new strip plaza but this place is really very, very good. Would definitely go out of the way to eat there again if driving anywhere near. Very clean establishment and friendly, fast, professional server. Oh yeah, and won't break your wallet so leave an extra good tip.

The ribs here are better than Dinosaur BBQ, and I love Dinosaur! The ribs here are so moist and tasty, though, and their Brussels sprouts are to die for. Love their homemade BBQ sauce options too! Try them out if you're in the area.

Extremely good BBQ. Some of the most tender ribs and brisket I've ever had.

This was a surprise find for us on our way to a concert at CMAC. We had the 3 meat platter which came with 3 sides, cornbread, pickles and pork rinds. Everything was delicious from the meats to the sides. This will be our new restaurant for concert nights or when visiting the area. Only downside they charge a 3% fee for using a card.

A very unassuming hidden gem. Right off the main road between Victor and farmington. Only a few miles from freeway. The food was excellent. I gave 4 stars only because I couldn't do 4.5

I had the turkey breast and my partner had the trash tray. The mac & cheese was delicious as well as the pulled pork. I tried items from both plates. The star was yesterday's hot sauce! Loved it. Now let's talk about cornbread. Most cornbreads are too dry or tasteless. That was not the case here. It was cake moist and with just the right amount of sweetness. Make sure you are hungry because you get lots of food.

Easily takes the #1 spot for best BBQ in Rochester for me.

Ribs and pork are great, but their smoked turkey, brisket, and smoked salmon are personal standouts.

Eclectic selection of sides, moist cornbread, and crispy housemade pork rinds tie the meal together.

Very good service and food. Great seasoning on the meat, never had brussel sprouts cooked that way... so good. Kyle the waitress was exceptional, tender brisket and ribs, definitely worth the trip there from the city!

met here with my family. table of 6. food was great minus the greens.. way too much pepper.. inedible unfortunately. everything else was SO good though. server was awesome. Even accomodated to me needing to bring in outside food for my daughter!

We got the brisket, ribs, fried potatoes, and coleslaw. Everything was perfectly cooked and so delicious!!!
In addition to the wonderful awesome food, the atmosphere was really cute, and the bathrooms were clean.
Shout-out to our amazing server who double-checked the ingredients list for me as I'm gluten-free!

My family and I stopped by for our first time today. I was very very happy with all the food. The ribs had the most amazing flavor with a great bark. The corn bread had a delicious caramelly top. The pulled pork was tasty. The bbq sauce was also fantastic. I'm a big griller at home but these guys blow my ribs out of the water! Thank you!

Excellent barbecue with terrific smoke flavor. More food than you can eat. Service was fast and very friendly! First time eating here and will definitely be back. Very relaxed casual atmosphere.
