I stopped at the Gainesville Home Depot yesterday to buy some things in the Garden department. Bridgette and Wayne assisted me with my purchase. They helped me get everything to my truck and helped me load it! They were both friendly and didn’t mind doing actual work. This is the way customer service should be!

While most locations did not have the tool I needed, this one not only had the tool but was very friendly helpful, and efficient. They went out of their way to make it a great experience.

Always have what I need. Easy to go in get what you need and your out. Great prices lowest in the area.

The gentlemen in the paint department were kind and went above and beyond to help me. I was offered help by almost every employee that passed by me, or I them. Everyone was SO bright and cheerful! They have the best atmosphere of any home depot I have been too!

I have bought many things here. Lumber, appliances and many, many plants. My latest purchases have been to get bags of Miracle Gro, seeds for my garden & grass seeds along with some plants to make my yard thrive. My roses love the Miracle Gro rose food I got for them.

Customer service was outstanding! The cashier Dawn spent additional time to ensure that I was completely satisfied with my purchase. She found the toolbox I wanted, validated that it was still in a box and orchestrated getting it loaded within minutes. She’s phenomenal and puts the customer first. A wonderful experience!

Home Depot is my go to place for home objects. It’s always busy, it doesn’t always take very long to check out.

We visit this store quite often. We love being able to order online and pick up in store, even for large items. They are usually prepared quickly too. The only improvement here would be for the curbside to have longer hours.The shipping to the store for pickup is done quickly and a few items we have have shipped to the home also arrived in a timely manner. Also, being able to see if something is in stock online or on the app is a huge time saver as well as knowing exactly what aisle and bay the product is in. The store also offers free Wi-Fi we use to look up things on the app or research online for information. When we do need help, it may take a little bit to to find someone, but we have found some very knowledgeable people in the painting and plumbing departments that helped us select the products we needed to make repairs. The garden center is also nicely stocked and we always stop by to check out the plants they currently have in stock. We also really like the convenience of returning items in store too, they can track your purchases by the credit card and a receipt typically is not needed for the return. The return policy is pretty generous too. Being able to look over previous purchases online and in store helps you to keep track of your spending and if you need to find a similar item again. Overall, I suggest having an online account and the app. It makes using the store much easier and helps you have an easy experience if you are in a hurry to pick up things and return home, as we usually are when we visit Home Depot.

Bought a chest style deep freezer and the lady in the department went way out of her way to take care of everything for me including checking me out back there in the department instead of at the registers having it carried to my car for me and put in it was great

Employees were both helpful and knowledgeable. I was able to find what I needed quickly without assistance but it was nice to have three different employees greet me with a smile and ask me if I needed any help!

Salesman in the dishwasher department knew his stuff and was very helpful. I wasn't ready to buy but he certainly gave me a lot to consider!

Overall, it was a very pleasant shopping experience!

Today we needed to return some extra materials we had bought and didn't need for our son's home. He bought most of his materials from Gainesville home Depot. Nyesha helped us and was very pleasant and made everything easy. She is an excellent employee who seems to be a asset to your store. Home Depot Gainesville has been great to do business with them. I love Home Depot because of the availability of items, clean and fresh environment and making me feel "local" even if it's a nationwide brand. One problem I find is that when you get some help everyone is greatly friendly, but getting that help can be a pain. I think there should be more people ready to help customers in between aisles and they should be more proactive asking whether the customers need help or have questions. It's a huge store with many small items dispersed throughout the store, so help would be hugely appreciated. Luckily the app helps a bit but it cannot replace human help. But it's a minor thing, keep up the great work.

Young man helped us getting our table and chairs and everyone was helpful. We love the chairs and table!!

The staff is friendly and helpful for the most part. I was slightly agitated by a younger employee, maybe high school age, that kept walking in the same narrow aisle that I was in without doing anything other than playing on his phone, but kids will be kids lol. Anyway, this location normally has everything in stock, fair prices on products (looked at insulation and planks today), and you can get in and out pretty quickly, which is nice. They also have convenient self checkout registers if that's what you prefer. I have 2 other Home Depots near my house that are a lot closer, but I just prefer this one because of the lack of crowds and good amount of inventory.

I am giving this Home Depot 5 stars!! We had gone to Ardmore Lowe's because it is closer to our home. Twice we went to Lowe's and twice we got little to no service from the employees. And very little inventory in stock. So today we decided let's just drive a little further and go to Gainesville Home Depot and we are so glad we did!! We could not walk down an aisle without an Home Depot employee asking us if we needed any help finding things. The employees here we're knowledgeable and helpful. The store was clean and we'll stocked. We will definitely be back even if it's a little bit further. Thank you Home Depot for the great shopping experience!
