This restaurant is filled with nostalgia, I love to stop in for breakfast at least once while I’m visiting family here in Cooke County. I keep it simple — build your own breakfast, plus I always have to get a side of the chicken & dumplings.

Great food. Great service. The Biscuit Benny was great, and the Fried Chicken is the best I've had in a long while. I enjoy the biscuits and gravy here because it's not sausage gravy.

We eat at the Gainesville Cracker Barrel each week when we visit my MIL. The staff is always friendly, and the food is delicious. Our server, Amber, was excellent! In addition to serving she was also the hostess. And the cashier (I’m sorry, I don’t know her name.) reminded me I had a reward expiring that day, so we were able to take additional food with us!

Traveling and stopped for breakfast. A little different set up than other cracker barrels, smaller than others but quite pleasant. Staff is great!! Very attentive and nice. Will definitely stop again when on this neck of the woods

You get a very good price for some delicious food. Customer service was great. Everybody was attentive we really enjoyed the visit keep doing a great job

Angelica is the best server. She gives great service, kept my tea full, attentive to my needs and her other tables as well. Food was good as always.

Fsst service and food served fresh and hot. Sourdough French Toast was tasty indeed. It was a good sized meal too; we didn't leave hungry either. The dining room was clean and we always enjoy the decorations. Gainesville, TX Cracker Barrel is a good food restaurant.

My favorite Cracker Barrel in all the world. Staff here is the friendliest, cheerful bunch I've come across.
They always have the right gift when you need one. The amount of old fashioned and new candy is insane.
I pretty much order breakfast whenever I'm here. Biscuits and gravy, grits and fried apples, ham, sausage hash brown casserole. Pancakes!

So this location and its staff were fantastic. I had had a poor experience in an Albuquerque NM Cracker Barrel a couple weeks ago, and cracker barrel made it right plus some. They are my ol' reliable for dine in comfort food on the road, so I was very happy to see this work out.
Delicious food (seriously, try the maple bacon chicken, it was soooo good), excellent service, and they really went above and beyond to ensure it was made right.
Plus I spoke to 3 different employees who had nothing but good things to say about Cracker Barrel as an employer.
It is good to see a company that still cares for its employees and customers, and I will surely be dining at Cracker Barrel again. Thank you!

Always delicious comfort food served here! The Cracker Barrel store is a tad bit over crowded with items to purchase, but there is lots of neat items to look at and purchase. They have delicious 'Old Time' candy canes that we always stock up on every time we come to a Cracker Barrel.
