Fuku Japanese Grill

Wow, it was a susprise find. If you in Gainesville it’s a must stop in. Service was quick and food was hot. My only complaint or suggestion would be they serve the food altogether on the table. But it still gets a five star .

Really great sushi and hibachi grill! Very unexpected that we found this in Gainesville but the food and service are super. House sake was really good. We noticed they even have lobster on the menu. Definitely will be back soon.

Doesn’t look like much but the food is amazing. Those sushi chefs know their craft. We were surprised at how quickly the sushi rolls came out because we ordered a bunch of fancy ones. Casual enough to bring kids and have a fun family night as well as a nice date.

Passing thru town and stopped for lunch. Hard to find sushi in our hometown so we wanted to try this out. Great lunch special and expansive menu for sushi. We enjoyed the visit very much and would definitely go back. Staff was so friendly, attentive, & welcoming.

Poor girl was working on her birthday but still provided great conversation and excellent service. :) the sushi was AMAZING, the colors were vibrant, the fish was fresh, and I'm a big fan of wasabi... With that being said, their wasabi was super strong and tasty. I used all of it! Big fan and I will definitely be coming here again!

The service was amazing and they were so helpful and accommodating to our gluten-free needs. The food was delicious and oh the sushi!! Wow!! I'm already looking forward to going back!

I had the shrimp Teriyaki, it was delicious and a generous serving of shrimp!
Edamame was fresh and was served with a delicious spicy sauce. Yummy Miso soup too!

I’m not a fan of Sushi but my son and son in law ordered the Pepper Tuna, Crazy Dog Roll ( avocado, shrimp and eel), Ichibon Roll and said it was delicious and fresh. They ordered the Ahi Tower too, I tried it and it was amazing! The food presentation is beautiful.

First time at Fuku and it was fantastic!! Totally aware of allergy and gluten free needs...We will be back soon😎 Thanks for the recommendation from everyone over the past couple of years.. I'm a little slow sometimes... 🤔😜

This place was great. I have to say I was skeptical going to a sushi restaurant driving through Gainesville, being a small town. Their fish was fresh and tasted great. They brought out complimentary miso soup. I ordered a bento box and it was huge for the price. I'll definitely come back when I'm in Gainesville.

If you go thru this town just stop. It’s so freaking good. The name is funky but the food is really outstanding. The crunchy roll is a party in your mouth! My hubby and I get the steak and shrimp with fried rice and they hook it up. Service is great and the staff is friendly. I go on my way to Oklahoma once a month. It’s my go to place after 5 hours of driving!

We love this place, we’ve been coming since it opened and have loved it since, we’ve never had any complaints. Would say best restaurant in gainesville.

I love having a sushi place so close ! We always receive amazing customer service, and delicious food ! We’ve done both dine in AND take out, and I would recommend either ! My go-to would be the JB roll and some Gyoza, while my partner loves their Chicken Fried Rice and Spicy Tuna/Salmon rolls !!

The food here was of the best quality and presentation, the servers, Jessica and Carlos were very helpful on the choices of our order. We had Monster Roll, which was spicy, just the way we wanted it. Our Edamame was covered with garlic and was amazing, great flavor, of course you could have the standard Edamame, if you so choose.
Cleanliness, food and atmosphere of FuKu is a 5⭐!
The service of Jessica and Carlos are 5⭐s.

Great food, Great service and not far from the casino. If you have a little time, take a short trip to enjoy!
